"I would like to go to the end". It was at that moment, that I REALLY wanted this guy to eventually win a World Championship. And boy, did he do it. Retiring on the top of the sport. Well done Nico
Marcos Molero Hamilton never accused anyone of sabotage, he said "the team needs to do better" which was very true, it is their job after all to develop the components and prevent mechanical failures.
You can feel in his voice how much he wanted to be a champion. He wanted to do anything to fix the car. He stayed calm throughout the race even though he knew he already lost the championship. Not an ounce of blame to the team both sides did their best and sadly didn’t work out for them. Truly a well deserved championship in 2016. You beat the 2 7 time world champions in the same car nico. That is one impressive feat to achieve and now you are enjoying your life with your family and living every single day like its your last. Sad to see you go but big respect to choose family over your career.
WORLD CHAMPION 2016 BITCHES!!! So glad that he finally got what he deserved! But also a great drive and Season from Hamilton, he would've deserved it as much as Nico did.
Omg! a True champion! He stilled calm all race long even when he knew he had no chance. He is not crying when he lose like others does... I my opinion his title is well deserved, he is so much better than other one time champions! #ForeverNico #RespectLewis #Respectmercedes #Forzaferrari #gokimi
Everybody who says, aah Nico didn’t deserve the championship, aah he’s such an arrogant guy, Lewis is ten times better, should watch this and realise the significance of it.
Hamilton had 3 retirements that season, two mechanical and the incident with Rosberg in Belgium, while Rosberg had 2 retirements, both mechanical. Hamilton was 17 points ahead of Rosberg entering Abu Dhabi.. Given the double points scenario: ROS P1 - minimum P2 for HAM ROS P2 - minimum P5 for HAM ROS P3 - minimum P6 for HAM ROS P4 - minimum P8 for HAM ROS P5 - minimum P9 for HAM ROS P6 or lower - HAM wins the title Without the double points: ROS P1 - minimum P6 for HAM (they would be tied on points but HAM had more wins) ROS P2 - minimum P10 for HAM (same case) ROS P3 or lower - HAM wins the title Rosberg himself acknowledged that this wouldn't change the outcome as Hamilton would have to finish P3 or lower for him to win the title. Rosberg needed a miracle to win the title and it didn't happen. Hamilton beat him 9-4 in races they both finished, excluding Abu Dhabi. Also remember that Hamilton started P20 in Germany (which Rosberg won) because of a brake failure in qualifying. Hamilton was as unlucky as Rosberg that season.
0:23 Rosberg: “It feels like there’s more than that. It’s literally holding the brakes on the rear or something!” How on Earth was that mistaken for what was in the captions?! Plus, “(this *traduction* I think is wrong, sorry)” There’s no such word as ‘traduction!’ I think you mean *translation!* 🤦♂️
2014 was the first year of major changes for the engines and some aerodynamics. Mercedes, although winning both WDC and WCC in that season, was struggled with the reliability of the engines and particularly the MGU-K
I think Nico doesnt get enough praise for his 2014 Season. People always say Lewis dominated him and only lost in 2016 due to an engine failure. Well if in this very race Lewis gets the problems instead of Nico, due to the double points regulation, Nico would have been WDC. How different the next years would have been...
Im sure that Nico would've retired in 2014 if he won the WDC either way, because he only wanted to get a world championship to match his father, he didn't care for matching the greats. But he was a brilliant driver that deserved a WDC, even if he was nowhere near Hamilton's level.
Nico Rosberg: It's like traction control Mercedes: NONONONO DON'T SAY THAT! Nico: Why? I'm just describing the feeling Mercedes: Ummmmmm, deactivate option 13
Lotta hate in the comments for Lewis but these two guys were once best friends - their dads used to share a care to drive them around Europe for different competitions. Hope they can someday patch things up again.
Nico faces more issues than Lewis in their dominant v6 hybrid years, nico actually made tough and complex days for Lewis. Today bottas just waste his seat, no challenge for Lewis. Complete pathetic.

I remember crying when he went on the radio.
Incredible how calm he was.
The opposite to hamilton, who didn't stop accusing of sabotage to his team. Lame...

@@azzifyy5988 After Sepang he posted "Someone doesn't want me to win"
He was very much indeed!
Nico had already lost by then, there was nothing he could do especially with double points on offer
Classy at the end.

imagine growing up with your way more talented friend always finishing behind him for over 15 years. and then you beat him.
people who cry sabotage with hamilton and throw in any ammo they can find against nico need to watch this.
The most calm driver, under a great pressure. Would be different with Alonso-lots of sarcasm to the team, Max-swearing , Kimi-swearing and sarcasm.
if this happened to lewis he would be acting like me when my mum doesnt buy the correct flavour candy and i whinge about it for 4/5 hours
The best description i've ever heard of Hamilton
Is it not the case for many other drivers like Raikkonen, and the top one Alonso? you could say Nico was more than calm as F1 driver should be.

But this year he did it unfortunately some people (Hamilton fans) still can't accept that
