Just wait til you get Odin bro. The slip skill (one I haven't seen many people use) makes doing combos like these even better with its animation cancel/slow time effect
it’s because the dmc team worked on the game obviously. he’s a lot more limited in comparison though. the game is a rpg so he has a lot of options but what he can do with all those options at the same time pales in comparison to dmc3/4/5
They are like "the classic games required strategy" when you were able to win most of the fights like this: Attack Attack Attack, Win Battle , Cure from the Menu.

I love how similar combat Is to dmc 5, Cause now I can actually put time in effort in memorizing combos like dmc which adds a bit of trickyness to the game and I love it!
Right? I see these videos and think ok but where can you do this outside of training? There are mob combos, elite mob combos and boss combos. Check back in 6 months for hopefully more applicable stuff.

@@ZuKo-iv-ixthere are mobs that can be launched midair the problem is they are very rare and the only ones I can think of are from the hunt boards. The mobs that dont have will gauge basically like the rare red chocobo or rare goblin
On that we agree Tbh, I wouldn’t have minded it if it was bosses and elite mobs that had that treatment… but then you get Chocobos and shit like that and I’m like…. Maybe we should be able to juggle em?
The air grab into Shiva's frostbite was really fucking sexy. I'm stealing that one. I can't wait to see how you tackle having to incorporate a level 4 Megaflare into a combo.

As cool as this is I wish the game handled combat better like their action counterparts, bayo/dmc/etc. Cause like you can't really do any crazy combos like this in the game since big enemies can't be launched and they're the only ones with enough health to do crazy stuff on. And I really think some type of style meter equivalent would be good to encourage experimental combos mid combat. Cause I know arcade mode has a score, but it's way to easy to get S ranks with simple bread n butter combos, cause it doesn't really punish redundancy like other action games
I mean, you also have a limit on how many combos you can do at a time since at most you can only have 8 Eikon abilities equipped. You can't serve out a full 3 course meal if all you've got are ingredients for dinner.
I had the same base set up. ramuh's judgement bolt, while not being a combo move, feels so cool to use at the end of stagger. switched out titan for shiva and put the Titan block counter on phoenix tho

Lightning rod x flames of rebirth is my favorite ability combination so far, so much stagger damage.

The main issue is all of them being recharge, so while the combos are cool, then have a definitive stop.

Upgrade it and the none counter one will shot 2 waves like countered, but not upgraded.
