I use Guinaiffen in this team anyways, so Jiaoqiu seems like a great update. Moreover, Guinaiffen as a 4* has weaker stats. But what kind of damage doesn't depend on your rarity? right, break damage. It only depends on your level and break. And Guinaiffen literally has break in her traces. So I will build her in break, and him in Fire DoT. For some reason, everyone only speaks of BS and Kafka or Acheron teams. But by adding DoT to his basic kit, hoyo gives us a great vulnarability core: Guinaiffen and Jiaoqiu. He is very reliable applying fire DoT, and Guinaffen will stack firekiss with her passive + ultimate very quick. Before, if an enemy with DoT died, she had to wait until there is fire DoT on a new enemy to use her ultimate. Otherwise, it wouldn't apply firekiss. Now we can use ultimate almost all the time. And vulnarability is more efficient than def shred. Meaning they both will stack their debuffs. It can be combined with characters who depend on fire dot (Himeko, Hook), or who'd like to add even more damage (Jiaoqiu + Guinaffen + Acheron will be better than BS + Kafka + Acheron because in the second team the only debuffer there is BS, and in the first team both Jiaoqiu and Guinaiffen). Also, vulnarability core can be useful for other chracters who plays with the NUMBER of debuffs (where the quantity is also importante) like Dr Ratio (who needs constantly 5 debuffs), and future characters
What do you mean vulnerability is more efficient than def shred? Def shred is currently the only damage increase that gets increasingly stronger the more you stack it while others increase linearly.

Does that make any different? Meanwhile, 15 energy let he can ult after his first skill in moc, and apply 4 stack for all enemy. That a huge buff.

If you are taking a two cycle clear , U gotta think about his ultimate and sp management.
If he's looking like this... I might aswell just grab Robin in her rerun. Works superbly with dot but also very universally good in any team. Honestly, not pulling her was one of my biggest regret.
In that clear Kafka with RM had a free ult+Skill in rotation over JQ. I mean technically yes, auto-battle ulted on her but that was a waste. Kafka-Boss would die from a DoTs she had even w/o Kafka's ult.
Just use gunaifen, she's slightly worse but at least she can save you from 90 to 180 pulls (and his LC on-top of that, yeah not worth it). Or just use Acheron in dot, literally the best team rn.
Similar boat to you but honestly I think Ima just run DoTcheron team and call it good. FF and DoTcheron should be able to clear anything no problem. In niche scenarios if DoT with RM is needed specifically for one side then I can just run Acheron team on the other side instead of FF.

Dot is fun in those events where you get to use trial characters. But i never liked it enough to pull for them. I opted for brute force and aoe-fua (jingliu, acheron, firefly, jing yuan).
you should, by far the most consistent team i have, got the jingliu team i mean the good one and it just doesn't make it sometimes plus DOT has a buch of motherly figures
my DoT team feels more like brute force honestly with Black Swan and Ruan Mei. i do have Jingyuan Sparkle and His Sig LC too, also Good set Duke. My Kafka Team still perform stupidly better than JY team. maaaaaannnn feels bad

No. Guinafen's debuff increase dmg taken by 28% in total, as for Jiaoqiu this number is 50% (if my memory is correct). Also Jiaoqiu's multiplier in the kit is much higher.
Jiaoqui unless E2 is not a big upgrade over Guinaifen as his multipliers are lower and his vulnerability buff is only 5% more and Guinaifen with E6S1 (Jiaoqiu Lightcone) is better than E0 Jiaoqiu so spending one 5 star worth of pull for E6 Guinaifen is way more beneficial instead of going for 2 five stars worth of pulls for barley an upgrade over a 4 star character. His current kit is not really worth pulling for dot teams if you don't plan to whale on him. If you wanna replace Ruan Mei then save up for Robin
Gui may has higher skill multipli, but her atk is way lower compare to him. And jiaoqi is way more easier to use than gui, cuz jiao only need to stack his passive once to get full vulnebility, while gui need to stack firekiss again if enemies die

Ruan Mei gives a huge damage bonus of which all the DoT characters benefit. Besides, she adds a little bit more of break damage, increasing the break DoTs, which Kafka also explodes, and she helps to break faster and fo longer. And when enemies are broken, they receive 10% more damage. As long as S1 Kafka and S1 BS are in both teams, it's not very relevant
i think hoyo doesn't really know what to do with this character lol. the background story of him being a healer with culinary skills has nothing to do with the hit gameplay lol, they didn't even add any form of heal or any form of pseudo sustain to his kit. talking about his kit, it was a hot mess and all over the place with no clear direction. If you want to make him acheron support, why make him do dot lol, and if you want to make him a dot unit, why bother giving him ultimate damage vulnerability. and hits trace, wth 15 energy? can't they think of any other traces that will help his kit? maybe follow up attack like kafka for faster stack ramp up? why not just slap those 15 energy into his technique. i was somewhat hype about him, but seeing his current v3 kit is really dissapointing. considering he was a limited character that need around 70 pull to get, he is no better than pela or guinaifen (which is free from the selector and you will get her con eventually) he just does not offer enough. may be you can do comparison for jiaoqiu and guinaifen. better stick with my e2 gepard with trend lol. With the current power creep speed i dont think he will be relevant for a long time, maybe people will forget about him as soon as the patch 2.5 drops lol. but on the bright side maybe sometimes we need a mid character. he needs a major buff and change to his kit to make him worth the jades, which i doubt hoyo will do. so yeah im skipping.
Totally agree, when I heard hsr changed his kit to play with DOTs I got excited then I read his kit and I was like wtf is this sh.. So I came to a gameplay and I only confirmed what I thought, it's not worth for dots and it's not that good for Acheron neither but it's kinda obvious they wanted to design him as archeron's partner and just added dots for some reason.
This was pretty disappointing, he's stuck between sup and dps, he's not as good a BS nor RM/Robin, I don't see a place for him in DoT as he may be on Acheron's comp 😢 I'll skip him

Yeah I might just skip everything for a while til the rerun of Jade or something from 2.2 reruns. My units are too op rn and I am just strolling through the game with too much ease to be pulling anything. My units are as followed E2s1 DHIL, e2s1 Acheron, e2s1 Firefly, e2s1 blade, e2s1 SW, e0s1 Luocha, e0s1 Aventurine, e0s1 HuoHuo (Definitely getting e1 on rerun), e0s0 Ruan Mei (might get e1 idk yet), e0s1 sparkle, e0s1 Jing Yuan, e0s0 Jingliu. E2s2 bronya (Idk if it even matters). Only person I might want is robin cuz I might pull Yunli now cuz its a cool kit that I like and I like playing Clara a lot, so it makes sense. I can clear pf to 75k no prob, moc 12 star in 2-3 cycle no prob, apocalyptic shadow is even easier. I'm just stuck on what units to even get next. Should ai go for follow up achetype or Dots next?
All his multiplier got nerf in half exchange for his ashen roast now count as DOT His lc is also brick now its just a dot cone (was consider good for pela)

I recomande you switching sampo with Guinaifen she can detonate black swan's and jiaoqiu's dots and she apply a good amount of vulnerability She's literally a Kafka for this team

Heard that they nerfed all of the new units real hard. Any of you know what got nerfed? Especially Jiaoqiu cause i was planning to pull for him

@@Vadikus2424 they halved all his multipliers and added his Dot to base kit but it is very weak. They removed his Effect Res reduction debuff which made him worse for Dr. ratio teams as he lost one of his debuffs. It's a nerf for every team except Acheron
So that means he's still a good pick for my Acheron team right? Cause I only have Welt and Pela

E1 Black. Jiaoqiu for now is not worth. His Vulnerability from the kit doesn't even buff to max the DoT team

Eh... Idk, I think I'd rather wait for Robin re run for my DoT team than to grab Jiaoqi. I don't have Acheron or a dps that's dependant on burst(well... There's Argenti, but he prefers Tingyun and Sprinkle anyway), so yeah... Skip for me. Same for Yunlin, I got both Boothill and Argenti for phys dps. Unless Huohuo gets a re run, 2.4 is my first skip patch since the first Jingliu and Topaz banners. Kinda a shame I don't have a reason to grab him because man, his design is 👌👌But I need a unit that I'll actually use
New changes made him best in slot for DOT and for acheron teams, they literally just made him more versatile while keeping his supportive capabilities and people are still complaining

Yeah I might just skip everything for a while til the rerun of Jade or something from 2.2 reruns. My units are too op rn and I am just strolling through the game with too much ease to be pulling anything. My units are as followed E2s1 DHIL, e2s1 Acheron, e2s1 Firefly, e2s1 blade, e2s1 SW, e0s1 Luocha, e0s1 Aventurine, e0s1 HuoHuo (Definitely getting e1 on rerun), e0s0 Ruan Mei (might get e1 idk yet), e0s1 sparkle, e0s1 Jing Yuan, e0s0 Jingliu. E2s2 bronya (Idk if it even matters). Only person I might want is robin cuz I might pull Yunli now cuz its a cool kit that I like and I like playing Clara a lot, so it makes sense. I can clear pf to 75k no prob, moc 12 star in 2-3 cycle no prob, apocalyptic shadow is even easier. I'm just stuck on what units to even get next. Should ai go for follow up achetype or Dots next?

His lc is also brick now its just a dot cone (was consider good for pela)

@@copy-kunimitate-kun4799 e6 pela doesnt do anything different than e0 pela. Regardless, he's amazing for acheron team since he supercharges her ult very fast, especially in PF. He's a nice replacement for Ruan Mei in dot comps if she's stuck in a break/FuA comp. Outside of that, meh as usual.

I recomande you switching sampo with Guinaifen she can detonate black swan's and jiaoqiu's dots and she apply a good amount of vulnerability
