Generator servant -> Ilharg the raze-boar -> Terror of mount velus -> T3 kill in pioneer mono red. Maybe pioneer big red, or try some other color besides green in sneak attack? Get some card draw going on with chandra or blue/black to increase consistency.
I wish that if a budget deck preforms well enough that you would at least do some games with it being a non-budget version, just to be able to see the deck preform at it's peak.
That's a good idea, I really should figure out a way to do that more often. We do play non-budget lists on the stream sometimes, but probably not often enough.
Just a comment on the articles non budget list. This deck has 3 card in the mainboard that can't be cast off unclaimed territory, you should really cut the super unreliable fortified villages before you cut the unclaimed territories.
We have too many expensive Cats in the deck at this point. With four Regal Caracal and four Leonin Warleader we only have 23 creatures that Collected Company can get, which is a bit light. I don't think it's worth it unless we find a way to get up to at least 26 or 27 hits.
Unfortunately, unless you cheat with changelings and the like, there just aren't enough playable horses to make a tribal deck in all of magic as a whole, let alone in pioneer.
Could we get some budget modern soon? I know pioneer is the latest hype and I do like the format. It's just been 9 pioneer budget magics since a modern video. I just enjoy modern more than others.
That was a cool deck. But should'nt you block with Pride Sovereign and THEN activate his abillity? I mean, yes. You get fewed blockers but he was on a high life total and he could easily eat the opponents creatures instead of chump-blocking them.
I'd have to look back at the situation. Blocking and then making tokens makes sense, unless blocking puts Pride Sovereign into range of dying to a removal spell, then sometimes it doesn't make sense.
If you hate the reveal lands so much, why not just run basics? Like 90% of the time you don't care which of your two colors it makes, as long as it comes into play untapped, which basic lands always do. They also have the advantage of making your Sunpetal Groves come in untapped too.
Kaladesh is four years old this year and Seth has played hundreds of hours of MTG - I still can't get over the fact he doesn't read the card name correctly once.
That's a tough one. I think maybe can trim a one drop and maybe one Leonin Warleader or something. In general I think that Bronzehide is worse than the other two drops, so I don't really want to cut them to add it.

Amonkhet block was removed. Ixalan forward still exists, but you can only see the ones not in standard when building a historic deck.
