Oddly enough, I was planning to make a small spinach artichoke dip for Christmas supper (yes, as the main dish; I live alone, so I can if I want to) but now I think I'll do it this way instead. Thanks for the inspiration!
Been watching your videos for about a year and went back to videos from 8 years ago. Whenever I want something new or to impress someone, you never disappoint. Thank you
You can run warm water over your cream cheese brick to soften it up if in a hurry, after all it is sealed. Now the reason I discovered this was due to guests arriving in 20 min and I forgot to take it out lol it was for a different dish but still sometimes we forget. I have been known to be The Mood Titans El-Gotton of Food Items Forgotten! A stretch I know but I love driving my wife and kids nuts with these and they know where I got inspired!!! Thanks for the post!
This channel is everything I didn’t know I needed during the pandemic: interesting and informative with a Dad voice telling Dad jokes. Thank you Chef John!
I am a professional baker and made something very close to this as a stuffing for my puff pastry shells when I took my exams a few years back - which had the theme "mediteranian". I added some sun-dried tomatoes and used fresh baby spinach. It was so good! This upload has inspired me to redo it at this time of year, thanks.
merry christmas chef john. you have made a bad year a little bit brighter for all of us trapped at home and surviving on youtube vids. thank you sincerely.
I’ve been watching your channel for years (I think ten years maybe).. my guilty pleasure. First recipe I actually attempted was the boneless turkey 6 years ago! I just seen that you are at almost 4 million and couldn’t believe my eyes! You are the bomb Chef John!
That's it, appetizer list for Christmas Eve just changed. And I have everything to make it! It's fate. ❤️ Thanks as always, Chef John. I've made so many of your recipes and they're always a hit.
I made this for my family for dinner and it came out so good !! (Slightly burnt the bread but u can barely taste it !!!) the pomegranate garnish made it so pretty too !! Thank u for this great recepie
Thx John....Took your hot crab dip to a HS graduation party 2 weeks ago...It was loved and the corningware was empty!! Huge success and my first try...Many Thx!

Awesome recipe. Just made it. But if you have one available, mix it in a stand mixer w/ the paddle attachment. My wrist was on fire after 5 minutes of trying to do it by hand! Kudos though to those that tough it out!
Chef John is humble
The guy hardly boasts-
And makes the very best spinach
And artichoke toasts.
Well-done!!! 👏🏼👏🏼

You're the moon. :)
Lovely
Finally. A safe way to serve spinach artichoke dip without fear of double dipping!
I solved the double dipping issue a long time ago. I don't share with anyone else, so I can do whatever I want. :-)
YOU KNOW, YOU'RE RIGHT!!!
a spoon would do xD
Uh... separate bowls of dip?

I followed your directions and it turned out as a piece of art and was so delicious. Thank you so much for sharing your recipes!
The chefs the most, I’m even watching him make toast. Toast..... I never thought I would be enthralled watching another guy make fancy toast.
Have you seen the parody video of Chef John making toast?
I’m going to add crab to mine! That looks amazing
exactly what I was thinking
Ooooh crab. 🦀🦀🦀

Never seen chunks of pomegranate on the side. Beautiful! I'm stealing that idea.
Seriously, Chef John is a wizard. This is so much better than making a big bowl of dip. Much elegant and better for dinner or cocktail parties!

Great Idea. And as always... I'll enjoy.
Artichoke is so underestimated sometimes, but no more with this recipe 😍
I thought I didn't like them, but I tried them for the first time and realized I do 😅
Great in hummus 😋
Made these today, just came out of the oven. They're amazing, thank you for this amazing recipe. Merry Christmas from Germany
Honestly, I was craving something like this so I think Chef John now has some sort of tracker in my head.
You are Awesome as usual! Love your videos!!
Try preparing this the same way and use knorr vegetable dip mix instead of the spices John recommended. It is sooooo good

This is one of those recipes I'll never wind up cooking, but if I did, I'd eat everything before anyone else got to touch it.
Beautiful and creative garnish!
I know what I’m making for NYE! ❤️
Yum! This is a brilliant idea! Thanks, Chef John!
I bet that the topping of cheesy spinach and artichoke would work well as filling for croquettes.

Spoon that artichoke/spinach topping into a won tun/gyoza/mandoo wrapper, seal it, then deep fry it until it’s luscious and golden.
