Josie I added soil to 4 plants and repotted a miniature red 🌹 I received for my birthday a week ago. I was covered in dirt. Even managed to track soil inside so I have to vacuum AGAIN, How do you stay so beautiful in your pretty dresses and stay clean? I wear white 5 seconds and find a spot somewhere no matter how careful I try to be. I love white but we don't mesh well together. Have a wonderful week. I live in Salem, Oregon and it quite cloudy and windy today. I felt I needed to hurry and get my patio gardening chores done. My landlord just put up a new deck so I'm trying to redecorate bit by bit , it's a work in progress. I love your vlogs.

Advance apologies for my perhaps excessive comments. Watering gravel really encourages sprouting of weed seeds - creating massive future headaches! Even temporary installation of drip irrigation is really a good idea, especially while most beds are fairly empty. For "tippy" pots, just put gravel/rocks in the bottom. There are wonderful little "spring rings" for climbing things like sweet peas - check them out. Something I wanted to mention before: those large rusting galvanized pots will leave rust marks on your beautiful flags - also, my personal opinion is that they are not in keeping with the Georgian facade of your house. Sooo love the joy you are getting out of your house and garden - you just glow (actually you always glow so beautifully) with happiness when talking about your lovely home. Do love those toile mules - too much dust and dirt around here, alas. Would be quite easy to put a bird excluder on that chimney so you don't soon find baby birds in your bath! Re fashion: the delicate white top with the stunning shorts is superb! The River Island dress is magnifique! Might I suggest an Ayurvedic consultation for your tummy issues - you will be not only very impressed, but probably much more helped than through the allopathic route - that said, can be fully complementary by those trained in both. That giant copper pot is superb! Re the cottage bath: here in the US there is "concrete board" and other waterproof based "sheetrock" to use in baths that are going to be tiled - much better that wood. Make sure you consider the cons of sisal (cleaning, staining, wet), esp. for a rental where guests may be rather less than meticulous. You could achieve similar look, greater durability, easier maintenance and better feel underfoot with a manmade fiber Berber weave. Daffodil.

Love this property. In that classic entry with the gorgeous marble table in the center of the room, a long natural wood or light colored upholstered bench on the adjacent wall would be perfection. It keeps an open flow in the entry space and is a classic way to provide seating to take off shoes and collect coats as people enter the space. A large scale piece of art above the bench would add a finishing touch.

DAFFODIL is pretty, but my favorites are Hyacinth. I have a sweet white one blooming in my Michigan garden, where it's still too risky to plant much else.

Perhaps you can just paint the "strange" corner in the main bedroom of the cottage with a colour of the wallpaper and cover the shelves in wallpaper. It will give some personality to the reading corner.

Love this property. In that classic entry with the gorgeous marble table in the center of the room, a long natural wood or light colored upholstered bench on the adjacent wall would be perfection. It keeps an open flow in the entry space and is a classic way to provide seating to take off shoes and collect coats as people enter the space. A large scale piece of art above the bench would add a finishing touch.
I just yelled “Daffodil!!” at my phone and scared the utter pudding out of my husband 😂
