hello dave. :) i’m just finishing up the video, walking along the beach with you, and i’m finding it very moving, ordinary people doing ordinary things. the little boy running up to his dad with his arms outstretched, the young men grouped at the waters edge, the mums playing with their children - it’s all very touching. thank you for taking us along.
Some people go for excitement and adrenalin. Others like to unwind and spend some gentle times with family and friends. These are the types of memories the children can take with them through their lives. 😌 Yes, I'm getting old, and nostaligia is not what it used to be. 😉
Hi Joe. I’ve always been a nostalgic person, growing more so as I’ve got older, but I worry that too much nostalgia is not good for me. Having said that, if you’d like to see some really beautiful British scenery with a little talk of nostalgia thrown in, have a look at this episode of Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse’s fishing show: th-cam.com/video/H7xzr18--lQ/w-d-xo.html
Thank you! Was indeed an enjoyable and a calm walk. Especially the beach at the end. I don't enjoy the beach when it is overcrowded! This was perfect!😊
A lovely clean and neat village there. I especially enjoy the soft lighting style with slightly subdued colours you used. It all adds to the dreamy and relaxed vibe of the location and the gentle way people are just chilling out on the beach. Good stuff. 👍
Yeah my colour editing is improving bit by bit! I always try and get it as close as possible to how I remember it looking the day I filmed it. How it is there is really how I remember it looking. I certainly don't just copy settings over from one walk to another! I enjoy the process of it all! 😊
@@DavesWalks WOW !! I see ! I didn't think of that !! Which makes sense & I agree 👍If I filmed any & they look different ( the colours of the sky & water, trees & they do usually !! Even our clothes ! Lol.) ,then I'd edit 'em back to the original colours ,or the closest myself as well !!! I didn't realize we could !! Lol. As I've never edited videos in my life !! Lol. Thanks for sharing this with us !!! 👍👍😍💖💜🥁🎵🐉🎤🎶🎥🎞💻💞
Kind of looks the same as i remember used to spend the summer hols there as a teen i the 70s , would camp for 6 weeks each summer .some great times ! .
Amei seus videos. Não conheço a Inglaterra, mas se tivesse oportunidade seria o primeiro pais da Europa que iria conhecer. Seus videos proporcionam um verdadeiro tour virtual.♥️♥️♥️
The houses are looking bigger than any average of houses in U.K.here ,no !!? Or ,are many of those condominiums & apartments !!? They look so much bigger !!💜🥁🎵🐉🎤🎶💞
Looks like a busy little place, with lots of people stood around on the main street - helps that the weather was nice. You've done a lot of walks in Wales, Dave, are you over there for business or personal reasons?
I had a week of holiday I took in North Wales, and my favourite thing to do on holiday is go out filming as much as I can! Followed by and evening with family resting my feet in a hot tub! 😊
I don't think I have ever seen a house that has a balcony which actually has a person sitting on it. You NEVER see people on their balcony. I think they just like the thought it's there IF they ever wanted to use it.

I really loved those little whitewashed stone houses toward the end of the village - reminded me of the old movie, How Green Was My Valley.

@@DavesWalks Nice! Sounds like a great trip. I hope your next holiday is in the Yorkshire Dales! :D
Next holiday will be the Lake district and Cumbria! Going to go climb some mountains! One day I am sure will be the Yorkshire Dales!

Do you ever get any grief of people because youre filming?
Fortunately not.
