    Thanks for watching.

They see, we are Handicapped VETERANS , wearing our Handicapped Cards around our Necks from the State and leave us Alone, and then We also Show them the Receipts of Donating 10% to the Local Animal Shelter and Their PD Dept. and to Let us Know if We can Donate some of that to anyother Place? that scores On their Good PR .. after a Few times? They don't bother us, but will bother Others and kick them off. or even arrest them.. Been doing this for 15 yrs now, ave over $50k yr at the Rich Private & Hotel Beaches ;-)

    • @magpie307
      @magpie307  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi and thanks for looking in 👍 I have the Minelab e trac, I have had this machine for a number of years and getting on a bit now 😀 not sure what's wrong with your machine as even the cheapest detector should pick up a coin or any metal come to that. If the batteries anr in good condition and charged the machine should make a sound when starting up. Are the cables connected properly or damaged ? maybe the sensitivity on your machine is set too low or turned off? maybe the volume is turned down and can't hear any signals ? These are just a few simple checks you can make. Without seeing your machine it's a bit of a job to diagnose what the problem could be. Maybe someone on youtube can answer your question who knows more about the machine your using. Hope you manage to get it sorted and get out and find some goodies. Good luck 🤞

    • @magpie307
      @magpie307  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Adam and thanks for looking in 👍 I'm sure most midrange detectors will work on any surfaces, wet sand is highly mineralised and some of the cheaper ones just won't cope with the wet salty sand. I have the Minelab E-trac and is happy on all types of land or beaches. The Minelab Equinox is the popular machine for all terrain these days and is an upgrade from the E-trac and at a reasonable price. A little research will show many detectors and their capability. Oh Les that is so sad, I imagine metal detecting would be impossible there. Take care 👍😀

      A metal detector on that beach would be about as useful as a pointed stick in finding anything.

      This must be the remains of volcanic activity many thousands of years ago. interesting 👍

      That must have been one hell of an explosion to create a crater that big and now filled with water to create a lake. nice bit of history there mate 👍

      The last thing we need is a repeat of that then or something like the massive meteorite that hit earth and wiped out all life on earth for thousands of years.

    There's that "aluminium" sound again. Is it like a-l-u-m-i-n-u-m? :)

      I think i know what you mean about Aluminium and Aluminum, it's exactly the same metal material as yours but the only difference is the way we pronounce it in our countries. Big thank you for subscribing and hope you enjoy all future videos 👍😀 Tony fom the UK

      @@magpie307 I was being facetious with the aluminium thing. Quite an Anglophile and my gf is way worse, collecting coronation mirabilia, with relatives in Bewdley Worcestershire. She's hot me into your coins and already have some George V and VI, a "Bertie" and a young Vicky. Now I need a Widowhead," if you find a spare, hint hint!

      They are nice coins if you can get your hands on one. Have you thought of looking on ebay there is a variety of british coins on there from the 12 century to modern. GL with your collecting. Take care Tony

    I've noticed that other beach detectors often do better in areas where people choose to sit. So near the rocks, steps, benches, banks and other features are good places to work.

      Your so right these are popular places to sit and often drop coins and such. Thanks for watching and interest in my video. GL and HH if you do a little metal detecting 👍😀
