Hello CM glad to see you’re back and hope all is well. I’ve spoken to someone in a COC office in Raleigh NC and they stated right now due to Covid 19 they’re having a really hard time assigning people to housing. He said they had to remove ppl from shelters and are housing them in hotels. He said they have put everything on hold and don’t know when they’ll be back to business. Once again this is for Raleigh NC I’m not sure if this the case for COC throughout the country but good luck to everyone!

I live in Houston, called a place and they said they have a waiting list is 1500 people.
Which of 9 programs are you talking about ? Also they like to throw out large numbers like 1500 or million because it works, you wont go apply because they made up that magic number and people fall for it ! Also your placement on the wait list is based on your score, not the order in which you call them, or show up. If you score 98 your your next in line a day later.

I’m currently on unemployment and staying with my parents but they already asked me to get out. How do I go about it? I’m actually about to do more research like u said. Hi, your videos have given a lot of important information so Thank you for that. My question is what if you receive mail somewhere so you can get your social security disability and welfare, would that be considered having a place to live. & what about people on dialysis like myself I've been on dialysis for 10 years and have been on the public housing and section 8 waiting list for 11 years and gave had to move me & my 4 children 6 times since then because Im low income and can't afford to stay places long because the rent is too high for me. Could I take a letter from my social worker to help me get housing faster ?

As you know HUD take a long time but you may have better luck with COC housing.Even homeless people have place to receive mail and own cell phones, that would not affect anything.You Social worker could refer you to a (Continuum of Care Program ) to get Rapid Rehousing .Yes that letter would be a huge help!
Hey Cyber , Truly Love your Vids , BUT, the United States Military is currently dropping multi million dollar "smart bombs" on mudbrick hut housing in Afghanistan . The multi million dollar smart bombs also needs a 25 million dollar high performance aircrafts to deliver those smart bombs , AND those 25 million dollar aircrafts just took off from a 10 billion dollar US Navy Aircraft Carrier? Instead of bombing existing mud hut housing in Afghanistan couldn't we instead build much needed housing here in our beloved US of A? Sorry if these questions are a click or two above your paygrade. My mom needs housing assistance and I don't know what to start to help her. We are in Olympia, Washington. She has to pay 2/3 of her salary for her rent. It is way to much. Can you please help? Thank you.
Being shes already on a lease I don't think COC housing would would be helpful. I'm posting the official HUD manual today it as everything including the questions and scoring system.
@@Section8Consulting i heard you said if she is having a heath issue, she will get a better chance to get housing assistance, correct? She has a chronic pain on her leg and back. Is she qualified as disabled? Would she need a document from a doctor for it? Thanks much!
Have her doctor note the problem and make sure dr says its not something that can be solved in 12 months. Once you do that you have qualifying disability. HUD will ask for notes and your good to go.

You do not have to be homeless to get housing.
so i have a disabled adult child she is 19 i have guardianship of her ive reapplied to housing many times and keep getting rejected as in the year 2001 i was found guilty of possession of marijuana a pound of it its now legal in mass lol go figure and that affects me now i pay so much for rent and cant get in what should i do?
