its really interesting seeing how new AK players from different generations strategize. being a day 1 player these are very insightful as I tend to tunnel vision on certain aspects of the game, seeing a new blood figure things out really helps to realize all the other things I could do in the game. really great video idea, keep it up!
@@vosz5872 When some of my friends played AK for the 1st time i was curious how they'll complete stages. Seeing these new players use new and old gen operators to clear early stages is just very intriguing for me. Example, in the stage 6-16 my main operator for boss killing was exia and nightingale for healing, but in my friends' case they used operators like goldenglow, pozy and of course mylnar and surtr for boss killing and therapist medics for healing, most of the strategies and meta that i was used to before have now changed almost completely. Also seeing them use operators that I usually or completely don't use gives me new ideas on how I could spice up my game.
The early 6 star specialists being unused is so real. The true value of them won't show if they are not E2 and the things they excel at aren't very common. But if you find the right place they shine like non other especially Lee in IS2. Also you forgot to ask about waifu/husbando matters.
all things considered his account is looking pretty good, also yeah i get no using myrtle that much early on i personally think that u get more value out of her once youve got an established sqaud, if he just upgrades a couple more 4 stars and and yknow somehow turns his gacha luck around he'll be set lmaoo. Also as someone whos been playing this game for almost 3 years now i can definitely say that DoS is one of the game modes of all time, just got the skin and left it alone lol.
I think the general consensus is IS3 is harder, it just seems easier now because we have a lot of experience in the mode and permanent upgrades unlocked as well
@@vosz5872Yes it might be so. I didn't get much progress before I got Mudrock and in the later stages you usually need a ranged stunner operator for the sting ray enemies which everyone might not event have.
I think is pretty much like, when IS2 released, it was hard After some time playing, learning the different stages and boss-mechanics etc. it became easy Same was with IS3, at the beginning the boss being a levitating enemy who also decreases your operators aspd in a large range was scary, nowadys you just sweep her And same will happen to IS4 at some point EDIT: Because strong operators may be important, but knowledge is true power in Arknights
YOOO thats so cool for 3 months that acc look healthy enough for me. yeah there are so much things which can be optimize like base, operator build, etc and i will not say about how to optimize because i am dumb and a lot of other players can explain better than me but the point of he enjoy the game and looking forward for keep progressing, i really glad to hear that. CHEERS
Based meteor main god bless this guy 🙏 Also as a very og meteor main second skill is in fact a complete scam, literally never used it and will never recomend
its pretty impressive he got to where he's got to now and got to e2 ops and moduled some of em, i remember it took me like 9 months of playing until i got the idea of e2-ing ops and still then i have problems in materials so an additional 2-3 months (i think), soloing my progress without outside help was pretty troubling for me back then but eh i had fun suffering on ex stages and the others. Also nice. i see a Firewatch guy ey? same here my guy
id recommend looking up a base guide since you can hardlock yourself out of the most efficient resource base. i dont remember my progress at lvl 59 as im 80 now and idk how long ago 59 was, but 4 6* feels unlucky. swire is honestly really fun seeming but i get your hate for merchants. they have a module that makes their DP consume less potent so you still gain DP while they're deployed. when doing recruitment i personally spam the refresh as much as possible unless i hit a guaranteed 4* tag like specialist or something. that way you get more gold certs. also it may be worth it to save up 258 gold certs to get a bunch of pulls instead of using the 180 for a guaranteed op since the pulls will give you more certs. but its up to preference.
Well that was certainly interesting to watch. Can't believe it's already been almost 4 years since I cleared that dreadful 5-5. 😅 Looking forward to more of his Arknights journey and you coaching him.
Lark should raise Gladiia if they get a chance. Genuinely one of the better units in the game, and with her module she works amazingly as a laneholder. Her and Spectre together are so incredible for new players to have access to, even if they really need E2 (and gladiia module) to unlock their true potential. Abyssal hunters are never a bad investment. Also they should 100% save for the Reed rerun in a couple of months time.
his base being only tier 2 is really hurting him in resources. I am at the 3 month mark for newe eplayre account too, but I built my base up to tier 4/5 in about 1-2 months. The resources gained per day adds up.
base should have 2 trading posts, 5 factories, and 2 power plants to be best optimized, else it's noticably less resources because losing 1 power plant for 1 factory is a big hit to your production also missing several base slaves (e.g. e1 steward)
Looking at you playing reminds me of my old days. I practically used guards to tank basically everything and don't even bother levelling up defenders because my strategy at that time is "just kill them before they kill me" and stall was not something I considered to do. Then I stumbled across some stages where there's no ranged tile to put my medic or medic can't reach into guards to heal. Then I got Firewhistle, my first dps defender. Looking at how versatile she is in tanking and attacking, I started building defenders, including Gummy cuz her damage is decent. Then I got Horn, Penance and Jessica Alter. I just have to build more and more defenders cuz lot of them have some versatile way to play instead of just tanking the enemies.
Get enough active friend, i usually just giveaway all my clues to someone else cause i know my friend will help me back. So i always have them completed right away easily. For base , you want to think as more free resources when you get deep into it. Look up a guide , generally you only need couple of e2 units. Some work perfectly fine unbuild.
Does anyone know when, ideally, you can do the annihilation missions for the Orundum? I am new (4 days played) in Chapter 3 and definitely don't seem to have the roster for it yet.
Another IS enjoyer like me. I love the hard maps of IS3, you'll figure out how to get to the ending without leaks after playing every weekend. (I mald for 4 weekends to complete all levels of IS3 😂)
Kinda funny how I feel like IS3 is easier than IS2. Perhaps because I just went all out at IS3 then I got confused with IS2 cuz the enemies gimmick are completely different. IS3 is at Ascension 8, two endings and lvl 160 but IS2 is just level 32 and not complete any ending yet😂😂
I'm also quote new myself, this DoS event is crazy i dont know how to beat A3. I finished the first two Trauma level, third level so far can only clear two wave but i think i can beat that level. For A3 though i seriously have no idea yet how to progess that even if i already got quite some 6* dps unit.
Yeah A3 is hard as hell. Looks like Ceobe can barely solo the boss. I used Suzuran to help her a bit and it works. But then the phase 2 boss kinda throw me up. He's aoe explosion and chain nearby enemies keep killing Ceobe and Suzuran. At that point I just gave up. But recently I got Nightingale so perhaps her s3 would be help in tanking those damage. When I finally got to level up her I might try again.
If he wants to he could clear the early stages of DOS. He can probably clear the C stages and maybe even the B stages with some tryharding. I wouldn't go as far as A though, that does not look possible with this account. For the Trauma stages he for sure can clear at least wave 1 for most of them. Probably wave 2 too, but not 3.
oh god he's still got a guest account OK his recruits are a mess, taking melee and ranged tags at the same time for instance, probably need to discuss that with him. tried metoer paradox sim, s1m3 works even without module. (e2 60 but yeah he's got module level 2) guy's got a bit of cursed gacha luck not liking merchants and he's only non starter banners are lee and swire.
Event like DoS really not friendly for newbies since you need strong operators like Elite 2 where you also need Operators with certain skill like Coebe and her skill 2 Man just need time so he could reach his full potential squad

For me IS4 seems harder than IS3. But I agree IS3 was brutal when first starting out.

That OP being at 0 😱 what did you spend OP on? Furniture? Sanity refresh?
Pretty sure you can clear AOS by just replaying the lower stages, because it is without sanity.
