Dragon age and dragon age 2 are the best ones. It’s now the water down everything., took away abilities. Took away the tactical part of the game that now bg3 does so much better with. I simply want updated gameplay with the original Dragon age mechanics. We don’t need it to be like Mass Effect., we don’t need to be a super action base game

Not really, you can switch to a dagger and magical orb which let's you attack in melee range and you can transmog your gear to something more plate armor looking, but your not able to just use swords and a shield as a mage for example.

I might be wrong, but I guess the limitation to increase breasts and behinds on female charakters (and muscles on males), has less to do with any agency, and more with it becoming super complicated to adjust armors and such to accommodate these choices in actual gameplay. That's at least the reason why most charakter creators don't give you any choice about the physique of your avatar at all. Dragon Age gives you considerably more options in that regard than most other games out there, and certainly more than any other DA before. But instead of being pleased by that, so many people complain that it is still not enough. So would you prefer to have no choice at all?

Wow thanks for 4 voices to choose from - that was so good in Inquisition too. I´m so excited to see how the story ends with Solas. I smell that a romanced Solas will get the best ending. So far all DA games had a great story and companions. But Origins had bad graphics and gameplay, 2 bad level design and Inquisition a diffuse storytelling. I´m happy that Veilguard fixes all of that and let´s me finally make a great looking male character (looking at the small heads in Origins) 🥰

Sounds like mage can either use a ranged staff setup or a dagger with spells setup.
Mage has a dagger(or sword I forget) as a secondary weapon and one of the subclasses is a Spellsword

The butt and chest sliders suck.. i know women who want the options to make their characters have big butts or chests and cant cause of how limiting the options are.. they talk about inclusion and yet refuse to include options for plus sized women with big butts or chests. I completely understand why people feel the way they do. I am worried about the game but want to play it for myself to form a proper educated opinion by the end. I would say if this game does fail, mass effect will be in great danger i fear.. ive been a bigger fan of mass effect than DA. So that game for me will be the deciding factor in wether or not bioware is dead as a studio and that i wont care anymore. But ill wait and see what happens to that game.
This will be a dragon age game in the same way that the last saint row's game was a saint row's game. I'd like to say that I hope I'm wrong, but I have no hope for this game anymore after the recent leak.
I might be wrong, but I guess the limitation to increase breasts and behinds on female charakters (and muscles on males), has less to do with any agency, and more with it becoming super complicated to adjust armors and such to accommodate these choices in actual gameplay.
That's at least the reason why most charakter creators don't give you any choice about the physique of your avatar at all.
Dragon Age gives you considerably more options in that regard than most other games out there, and certainly more than any other DA before.
But instead of being pleased by that, so many people complain that it is still not enough. So would you prefer to have no choice at all?

I love the looks of this game, i think it's getting hate that im nkt seeing myself. I played the others and loved them and liked how each play through felt.
I'm still sort of up in the air on the art style. I'm looking forward to playing it in person to see how it all works together.

I´m so excited to see how the story ends with Solas. I smell that a romanced Solas will get the best ending.
So far all DA games had a great story and companions. But Origins had bad graphics and gameplay, 2 bad level design and Inquisition a diffuse storytelling.
I´m happy that Veilguard fixes all of that and let´s me finally make a great looking male character (looking at the small heads in Origins)

as others have already said, due to the overwhelming change to the storytelling and breaking of immersion with modern social political ideologies, I identify as Non-Buy-Nary for this DA title

2. devs removed all the spider elements out of pandering reasons.
3. devs think they don't like blood-magic so they also removed it.
4. everyone has a comic body ratio and dark spawns are goofy-lized thoroughly.
5. a leak by a play tester claimed that one of the major companion actually has a line specifically expresses that she identify herself as non-binary.
6. devs are proud of the fact that they added top surgery scar option in character creation.

1. they wanted to make the choices carried over actually make a difference rather than just "that's neat" cameos.
2. Most companies are removing spiders in some way because Arachnophobia is a real thing it genuinely hurts players enjoyment of the game, Spiders also aren't that important to the DA world.
3. YOU COULDN'T USE IT IN DA:I! They also said its because of how blood magic is used in the story so it wouldn't work is rook used it.
4. Everyone's body ratio is actually close to normal human ratios but we are used to seeing what is called hero ratios in video games. Also the darkspawn have looked this way since DA2 and DAI.
5. There is no proof of this and if they did as long as it is handled well then its fine like with Crem from DAI.
6. And? Its a choice, it would take 1 person maybe 2 hours to add those in and if it make even 1 player happy then it was worth it.
