Doing this job you really need to move around a lot more! I used to feel like I was chained to my desk, it lasted 2 years working from home until I started to develop back and neck pain, After months of Physio I'm still not 100%, it was time for me to move on, I left my 6 figure job, working outdoors half the pay what I used to get, but I feel alive and happy. Money and title are not everything in life, you need to find that balance otherwise your mental and physical health will suffer. Thanks for being honest and showing us the truth about being a Software Engineer, I watched a lot of videos, and people make it out to be the best and easiest money-making system, until they go and try it, most people don't last long in this industry. What I hated about this job the most, was how much time I wasted in useless online Team Meetings.
They don't show the part when you're bored out of your mind in the tech feild. And working from home isn't what people think it is. Saves money on the commute but there's something about leaving the house and coming back after a hard day of work that I miss..

I just started out in Tech, being a finance professional for a about 7 years now. The switch has been rewarding. Learning all these codes, etc, though new and uncertain but, I'm filled with hope that it will be worth it. And guess what, I decided to become a fullstack software engineer. Don't know if it makes sense to say "I'm intend to major in Python"😊.
