Bob, Really, really, really well done! Most helpful for HMB "newbies", but a "semi-veteran" (decider die says "not a veteran") like myself also learned some things. Thanks for doing this video. A similar detailed video for the other PLAAY games, by someone very experienced in those games would be welcomed as well. Thanks again! Nice job!
These informational / instructional videos for PLAAY Games will be a very nice compliment to the wonderful videos done by Steve Tower & Al Wilson. I look forward to enjoying more of these. Pete Stevens
Bob, your tutorial is as good as it can be for this quirky game. I am looking at this game from a career in the game, as a player, coach, and scout, the last few years before retirement including analytics. This game is totally opposite of the advance stats games, but that is not a knock. I have seen talented teams lose games to less talented teams because one team was sharp, while the other was off. If I had been part of this design, I would have suggested that the creator had adjusted the freshness, hotness, animous, or whatever and tied it into a schedule, so that a team that played a Sunday doubleheader back in those days and had to play a night game in another city the next night would be off for that night game. I would be interested in seeing how the "swingin' A's" of 1972-73-74 would have been described on the cards. They couldn't win without a pregame fight in the clubhouse. I would like to see a player card of Jimmie Hall, because he walked around with a proverbial black cloud over him, so much so that he played himself out of the game with a defeatist attitude.
Thanks for this, very helpful for this 1st timer. Where did you get that score sheet? It's different (and looks better) than the one provided with the game.
When the chart calls for Active Steals, do you roll on the steal chart to see if he is safe or is it just an automatic successful steal? Just starting with the game and this video was so helpful.
Great question! It is automatic. No roll is needed, unless, of course, the batter is semi-active, and then you would have to determine if they are active for that at bat.

Pete BosoxFan 67 other games are planned in the future! Stay tuned!

I was thinking of making a tutorial video but after seeing this, there's no need. This is the definitive HMB video! Outstanding!
More content in the community is ALWAYS a good thing! If you want to do a video like this, have at it!
I like your videos too, P Jet. I was thinking how a video of each hockey game would be nice and you did it. Thanks. I have played a variety of hockey.
Solid video. I think you hit all the important things any new gamer would need to know. Very well done.
Really enjoyed this video. Although I am an experienced HMB player, certainly no longer a PROSPECT, I picked up lots of useful info. Thanks

Absolutely excellent 👏 job
Hope all is well Bob
Great video and thanks for the shout out to AFR!
Great tutorial Bob. Just ordered HMB and feel I already know how to play it after watching Steve at AFR & your Tutorial.
Extremely good please continue making videos! I dont think I found anywhere what the "usage stars" meant or how it comes into play.

It is created by Al Wilson and should be on the new freebie site he created from the old Plaay website freebies.
