Toonami UK Continuity and Adverts (May 15th 2005) - Gondarth's Recordable Fridays

- OK, a month ago, I posted a video of a 5 hour Pokemon marathon on Toonami from May 2005... It turns out I found a DVD from just a week prior to that video recording, including a rerun of the very first episode of Pokemon Chronicles... What the heck are the odds? And I still hate uploading Pokemon content. As much as I love Pokemon, the footage is always a goddamn nightmare to work with.

This makes me sad knowing 2005 will never ever come back
This was when Toonami went down hill after this rebranding. It was better in 2004-2005
I remember when I used to wake up at 4:00am to watch Outlaw Star on Toonami, I was so shocked by the nudity and bad language in it.
This was on my 7th birthday!!
0:39 my fav show
If Pokemon was on modern Toonami, it would be rerated to TV-PG there
Especially if it were the original Japanese version...
@@Gondarth and foreign versions as well
What video software do you use? If the Pokémon footage is difficult to work with...
I use ArcSoft Showbiz to transfer the video footage to my PC... Editing the footage is generally fine, but the video can be blocked if I use more than 30 consecutive seconds of any Pokemon footage, hence the extreme amount of edit work I need to do just to get it to TH-cam

Toonami has become cartoon network too
Well, it did, from 2007 to 2014, at which point it became Cartoon Network +1 again
I know that the Indigo League reruns that are aired on Pop TV don’t include the Who’s that Pokémon? sections. I wonder why they removed them from the Indigo League reruns on Pop TV and the current UK release DVD and Blu Ray?

Not Gohan It’s dumb. That takes away the nostalgia
Why does America get Toonami back but we don’t?
Because USA tv is less regulated so it’s economically viable for broadcasters to pursue niche interests like anime, in the uk tv has got significantly more regulated for children since then Warner bros probably thinks the risk isn’t worth the potential reward.
@19:43 I do not like the way the announcer pronounced Luffy! It sounds weird!🙁
The best shows on this period were Pokémon, Dragonball, Rave Master, The Batman and Beyblade
Did the Toonami airings of Indigo League include the Who’s That Pokemon Sections?
It was a long time ago, but I suspect they did include them...
Although I had grew up with CN and Jetix, something about Toonami was something I never was interested in for some reason. It wasn't that it wouldn't, I just never tried to watch anything new other than the channels I grew up with such as CN Too, Disney Cinemagic or CITV. Ever since I decided to download most of the Jetix shows from both the UK and US, I've noticed how Toonami basically took most of the shows Jetix could've had, such as B-Daman, Beyblade, Static Shock. It seems like Toonami was essentially Jetix's enemy.
Real bad 111
Please could you upload the full Indigo League episodes you have on Archive.org? I would highly appreciate it
