The OCD is quite a bit brighter, so with a bit of tweaking on the tone control you can get almost all of the OCD tones from it. It's a good clone in my opinion. Cheers mate.

I was so impressed with the Mooer after using it for a month that I then invested in an OCD v2. The OCD 2 has much more pronounced bass and lower mids and less pronounced treble. With a clean amp channel, setting the bass rolled back to 10 or 11o’clock and high end at 1 to 2 o’clock it sounds fantastic, fat and full, responsive and dynamic. The drive is more intense than the Hustle and does not lose tightness when pushing beyond 12 o’clock whereas the latter can. The benefit of this is for Strat and single coil players. You really can think you’re changed to humbuckers. For les Paul and humbucker players, go carefully on those settings with the OCD. The OCD works well with a second drive, either before or after. The Hustle is, in my opinion, better suited to the humbucker player and works like a dream with a second drive pedal. Strats retain more of their hollow tone but a higher drive setting allows a more gutsy sound. So, both excellent with a slight edge to the OCD, but not as similar in my experience as this video make them sound.
i can get the mooer new for 50 bucks while a v2 will set me back at 200, still worth for v2? I never use my strat for dirt anyways, except maybe malmsteen type runs, mostly a medium-high output HB guy (Sentient and Nazgul)
I have both and if you can tell a hill of beans difference you're a better man than me. Not really fair to set the knobs at the exact same place....the pots are totally different sizes and if you tweak them to sound the same they are very very close for me. I personally will take the savings every time. Not really enough difference for me Thanks for the great review.
This is my experience too. I have owned the Hustle for ages but this past week I bought an OCD V2 and I was expecting the OCD to blow the Hustle out of the water but actually the Hustle is really close and sounds just as good. Maybe the OCD is slightly better if you listen really closely. Maybe. I think Hustle is one of the best bang for your buck pedals you can buy. And I don't feel the same way about other cheap clones that I have bought (with the exception of the Caline Pure Sky - that's a great overdrive too and cheap).
The OCD has more presence but I prefer the darkness of the Hustle Drive A bit sweeter. Neither one is to my taste actually. he also has the OCD louder than the Mooer for some of the examples

hustle drive is a bit darker but that can be fixed on the amp. ocd has a tad bit better sound quality but in a mix or live band situation, probably wouldn't notice. at half the size and half the price, i'm all about mini knock offs.
I found the hustle drive very useful for my playing. I play rockabilly and I sometimes just need a little more gain on the clean channel, and the hustle does it for me :)
Both pedals are cool. Some people don't think that there is a $100 difference between the pedals but....they are wrong. My band played in Detroit on a very hot summer day. The venue had us on an Aluminum stage. The temps were over 90 degrees F. My JOYO Ultimate drive pedal was totally non functional in the heat. All I got was s sputtered noise. Fortunately I also had my BOSS pedals. They worked flawlessly despite the high temps. So....There's the difference. Yes, I know that it's a Mooer pedal vs Fulltone. you get what you pay for.
EHX Glove is more versatile and a lot less expensive. Mooer Hustle is much smaller and a lot less expensive. I have both, the EHX and Mooer. I also didn’t buy either of these two as OCD knockoffs and never considered the OCD in purchase decision. I guess there are some aspects that are comparable.

So I still say yours is the first.) I have the Mooer for quite a while now but never really liked it. Now I see why, though it's pretty close in sound it's also somewhat lifeless compared to the real thing. Well, I only paid €35 for the thing, what could I expect, haha. The OCD has more low-mids and sounds fuller and thicker. It has different drive character, too, as if OCD clips with Germanium diodes and Hustle Drive with silicon. Subtle differences, but you can hear that in a comparison like this OCD sounds better.
OCD seems to have a bit more bite and presence. But the Mooer is awfully close, if I saw this vid before buying my OCD I may have strongly considered buying the Mooer.

This is coming from someone who has a $30 donner morpher as their main distortion, so I am not a pedal snob. I would loved to open up the real estate on my board, but the Moer didn't knock off the OCD. The OCD is truly a pedal that sounds good in every gain range and with a very usable range of tone control. To me, it's worth the extra money I paid.

I still don't understand why the Hustle Drive goes for over $50 US ; when it's just another Chinese clone. Most are in the $20-30 range, and that even goes for full sized units with 4 pots like the Orange Burst ($25-30) a clone of the BB preamp by Xotic.

What kinda tubes do you have in your Blues Deluxe amp? I have a Fender Blues Deluxe, a Gibson SG, and the Fulltone OCD and it sounds better than your video. Probably because the TH-cam audio compression quality. The OCD wins. I'd rather have the quality of the real deal and not a cheap knock off with cheap internal components. The OCD is built like a tank and the inputs and pots are solid.
That may be so, but .. The footswitch in my OCD has started going flaky - cuts the sound entirely sometimes instead of switching - and that has never happened with any of the "cheap" clones I have.. YMMV. Just got a 2ndH hustle and now we'll see...

I bought my mooer hustle drive for around $35, so around the same price. Which donner pedal are you referencing? The one thing I will note is that the mooer hustle drive is super light compared to my other donner pedals.
I compared my Hustle to my new OCD V2 just this evening. I have to say the Hustle is pretty damn close. I feel like I really need to listen closely to say I slightly prefer the OCD, I think. Theyre not 100% identical but I don't feel like the OCD is that much better (the difference is subtle). The Hustle Drive an excellent pedal. I also have the Joyo Ultimate Drive which I dislike. The Ultimate Drive is way muddier and darker. I know people love to say the cheap clone is just as good but in my experience people are a tad biased. Everyone wants the cheaper pedal to be just as good, but in the case of the Hustle Drive, it really is a good pedal.
Not that much of a noticeable difference, they both drive similarly and I couldn’t careless if they sound exactly the same, if you can achieve a decent drive tone with whatever pedal you’re using then that’s all what matters to me, yes I’d love to be able to afford to buy top price boutique pedals all the time if I had the dollar but I don’t give a fuck anymore as long as it works, sounds decent enough and does it’s job then I’ll use whatever and still get a great overall guitar tone from my setup. Picked up a Mooer Hustle for £9 so I ain’t complaining for that price! Plus I don’t decide and buy with my eyes, better to use your ears and not pay a shit load of extra cash that no one in the audience could tell the difference or even care what your using as long you write and perform good sounding songs.
1st off the OCD isnt all that great of a pedal . I had one and returned it . It does one sound great , but nothing really in between. This hustler drive is close enough and for half that price .

I just snagged a used Ibanez mini Tube Screamer for 50 bucks and am selling the Green Mile. Green mile has more bottom end, less defined mid hump. If I only ran one OD, I'd have kept the Mooer. But I stack it into the Hustle Drive, and the dead-on TS-808 is further away in tone from the Hustle, so the variety ramps up. All good pedals, it's a personal choice thing.

Wow! The OCD in LP mode with drive fully cranked sounds amazing. Same in HP mode. The two of them stacked sounded even better.

The Joyo Ultimate Drive is a terrible pedal, Hustle Drive is pretty decent. Not as good as the real thing but good.

They sounded pretty close when I compensated for the difference in volume by turning it down 2 clicks whenever the OCD is on.

yeah it just comes down to affordablity, most people don't have 200 for an OCD when the clone can sound as good

HELP ME with your experience, RECENTLY buy a new FULLTONE OCD 2.0 overdrive pedal and a FENDER PRO JUNIOR IV VALVE AMPLIFIER, THIS DUO DOES NOT TAKE ANYTHING WELL, BY CONNECTING THEM DIRECTLY, WITHOUT ANY OTHER PEDAL, WITHOUT ANY NOISE DUST, WHAT HAPPENS IT IS THAT A ZUMBIDO SIMILAR BEGINS WHAT IS LISTENED WHEN A CHICKEN IS STICKING IN THE BRAZAS, AS IF THE AMPLIFIER WAS BURNED, HELP ME SIMON SMITH, WHAT TO DO?
THE DEFECT IS THE FENDER PRO JUNIOR IV AMPLIFIER OR IS THE OCD FULL TONE PEDAL?
THIS SAME PEDAL IS USED IN OTHER FENDER AMPLIFIERS AND TRANSISTORS AND HAS NO PROBLEMS, IT IS ONLY DECOMPOSED WITH THIS PRO JUNIOR AMPLIFIER IV

OCD seems to have a bit more bite and presence. But the Mooer is awfully close, if I saw this vid before buying my OCD I may have strongly considered buying the Mooer.
