The Hustle is still on my board and others joined OCD on Ebay. It's not perfect, but it's very, very nice.
I sold my OCD a couple years ago during a financially tight month. I got the Joyo Ultimate in 2019 and, though I couldn't do any direct comparisons, it seemed to do the same for my Strat in different amps as the Fulltone. Maybe I was lucky, or maybe my hearing memory is not what it once was! Nice video.
Yeah, what you typically find with the chinese clones is that there is sooo much variety. Some sound nearly identical to what they're cloning, others, sound totally off like the Ultimate Drive in the video, and some are somewhere in between. Honestly wouldn't be a terrible idea to order like 3 at a time and keep the best sounding one while returning the other two.
Interestingly, I did actually order one for this video, then sent it back fora replacement because it sounded so bad, and this is the replacement which sounds exactly the same as the first one. 🤷♂️
Hey man. The reason many of these pedals sound slightly off is because you want them to sound the same with the dials set in the same position. This may seem logical but it's not guaranteed even between the same line of pedals. Having components that vary even 5% can mean a different cut off before clipping which means that even if the pots happen to be exactly the same (not always the case) in actual value (not rated) it will still sound different. Even if we are talking about two original pedals. And, the clones try to you know, not be exact clones so changing the value or type of a pot can help avoid legal problems. See Jhs vlog for more details if you want... That's not an actual defense for the clones or anything but it is an observation that should be noted in most tests.
81giorikas Sure, I'm aware of that, which is why you'll see most of the controls are not actually set the same. I'm trying to adjust them to get them to sound the same, and hopefully that reveals the significant differences between the pedals. I think sometimes people think 'I'd like an OCD but I can't afford it, and I’ve heard this is a good clone' so this video is hopefully to help inform them to make their own decision about whether that's true or not. But in the end, if you really like the sound of a cheap pedal, it doesn't matter whether it sounds like the thing it's copying or not - I'm not going to tell you to get rid of it and buy something else more expensive.
Some of these "comparison" vids are ridiculously shady. He intentionally made the joyo sound like shit and from how horrible it is, it sounds like the board was sabotaged. And knowing that it was one that had a faulty board with a ge diode installed backward before he made this(even those don't sound this comically bad) proves that this shit wasn't done to compare sound to the ocd. Then he claims innocence and then says he honestly made this video so he can help people make an informed decision....Alrighty...
@@akufan to be fair, I also loved the Ultimate Drive wich is why I bought one but, while it does a great job with the low-mid gain stuff, mine sounds like a fart when I cranck the gain up. It actually sounds exactly like the one on this video so maybe it's not this guy's fault. I've come to find these pedals sound great by their own but they can't stand a test like this one because they're not exactly the same. It's like TV's: you see one 4k 32" flat screen on it's own and it looks great and it looks big enough, but when you see it next to a 50" it looks like a pc monitor; it doesn't mean it's not a great tv but in comparison it no longer looks like you would've thought, right?
Thank you for the test!!! It seems that the tone controls on the clones are much more extreme then the OCD. This causes the sound to get really bad when they are set at the limits. It would be great if the tester set each pedal to the best sound he could get for the pedal at a given gain setting and then compare them.
@@ThePedalBored Agreed, it is somewhat subjective. You could however, give it your best shot. I don't really care how a pedal sounds at its extreme settings...I care about the best should I can get from it...maybe at low gain and then again at higher gain. You could call it "My Favorite Settings Test"...subjective, yes, but I believe it would be a great value add.
Thanks for being so thorough by tweaking all the knobs to really demonstrate each pedals unique qualities which is the point of a demo, isn’t it? Oh yeah, love your book collection!
Many of the Joyos had a clipping diode installed backwards. Even just removing it improved it tons. With the diode in right it's a 1.4 OCD , without its a 1.3. BUT still different
Even still, I'm pretty pleased with my $35 Leon & Ultimate pedals. They don't even try to replicate the very same path as an OCD. They are, however, basically identical to each other.
@@ThePedalBored I've got a collection of Amps and play mainly classic rock so don't use Pedals much, just crank the amp and attenuate them, but the Blue Sky was bought as a bit of fun and works on all my amps well, I even use it with a Joyo American, into my PA when too lazy to lug an Amp out, for the few bucks it costs it is very well made and sounds good.
I think my Monoprice Stageright VS Overdrive is basically a rebranded Mooer Hustle drive, except for the toggle is a three way with Normal/Boost/Fat modes instead of hp/lp. Had a JOYO Ultimate drive and it didn't wow me at all. I have yet to see anything from Caline to wow me either. For my money, I think the Mooer and Mosky sound the best . . . . . up to and including the OCD itself. I'm pretty impressed with the VS drive and would love to see more demos of it and the Monoprice pedals get as much love as the amps do. I can attest that the amps are amazing esp for the price.
I have the Caline Crazy Cacti, the clon of the Fulldrive. Sounds really nice for the price. I can't afford a 200 euro pedal so... xD awesome review as always sir!
@@ThePedalBored Ah that’s a shame, hope you’re keeping well. Look forward to new videos when you get chance. Definitely the best pedal demos on youtube, and your loops are low-key fire as well
I feel the tone control on the OCD behaves differently to a usual tone control and I think that accounts for the differences in your vid. The tone control on the OCD needs to be near 10 on most amps. The others tone controls are more standard and the mid position is the default.
Yep, that's probably what most of them get wrong. Fuller says the tone is actually a treble roll off. The tone needs to be all the way up to get just normal treble. The clones seem to set it at a more normal type control where12 o'clock is no effect and it either boosts or cuts, right or left.
@@sugarkitty4777 much experience later and I have no problem running an OCD at 3 o'clock on the tone, it rolls off nicely. I wouldn't do that setting with most pedals but it works for an OCD.
@@sugarkitty4777 I find the OCD quite terrible to use. You can't play humbuckers with it, unless you also have an EQ pedal set to greatly boost treble. I play it into a very sparkly trebly amp, a fender blackface amp, but it's almost useless with humbuckers unless it's on very low gain. It's fantastic with single coils though. You can play a strat or tele on the bridge pickups on those guitars, into the OCD, into a trebley amp, and get some really meaty power chords with it But yeah I regret buying an OCD. I should have bought a clone instead, one that allows you to boost treble as well as being able to roll it off
I like the one my buddy made me for $40. It has a "Dumblish" mod. He considered calling it the "Freekish Blues Alpha Drive" but apparently that's already been done....D
I use the joyo to drive alaney vh100r for stoner rock and it sounds huge. It's dark, but if you use on a bright amp the results are great. Tried other ocd copies but still prefer the joyo, it has the best "impact" in my experience

Always the best demos. I will say I have been happy playing my Joyo UD, but I can CLEARLY hear a big upgrade in sound on the real deal OCD. and I do have my tone knob pretty much maxed on mine to get the life out of the high end I need. I also run mine at 18v, which I had heard was killer on the OCDs.
Was eyeing the Mosky Obsessive OD for a while now but couldn't find a convincing review on youtube. Got a Mosky/Muslady Golden Horse instead. This made me reconsider the Obsessive. Nice review, as usual!
I agree completely - I own the Joyo Ultimate Drive, and it is horribly muddy, unless you keep in in HI Mode with the tone control all the way up. However, I find it works very well with a bass guitar, just adding a bit of grit, and here the LO Mode works very well, taming my P-Bass which is often very piercing in the high range.
I've owned all of this expect for the Leon drive. Where a buffer is placed makes a huge difference to these "transparent" pedals and order makes a huge difference, the OCD can be finicky in the setup. The OCD can sound fantastic in the right chain with the right buffer and downright awful in the wrong setup. That said, in my findings the Joyo Ultimate Drive was fantastic, sounded nothing like the one in this video, was very clear and crisp and had more gain on tap than my OCD 1.4 (Ive had 1.4, 1.5, 1.7, 2.0 versions of the OCD). The Hustle drive and obsessive were ok at best, sold off quickly. I've got a Marshall DSL40CR that I gig with and I found the OCD low to mid gain for crunch to be the best fit. If I needed a distortion pedal the Ultimate Drive would have stayed on there, but the Marshall provides my lead / distortion with the OCD fitting the needs of the low to mid gain situation best. The ultimate drive in this video sounded defective.
Great demo, one of the best! You just got a subscriber. I have had three of these and not owned the original OCD. It is obvious what is going on here!! Thank you
Man... I got 2 OCD. I like Fulltone products. I can Tell You a thing, first batches of Ultimate Dr. manufactured in 2010 were exact copy of OCD 1.4. Before Fulltone, naturally and rightly complained. I bought 4 of them for 25 USD each just to carry them around and for not to worry about having stuff stolen... things that really happened seeral times. With all of my love. (I don't know about these new pedals, like Mosky, and those but... if Your run, the first pegasus Caline is a 100% Copy of the Klon KTR with voltage doubler, dopple ganger pot and all the shit needed. All the best to You.
Cheeky book choices....clever fella! I loaded up my China website cart with Mosky pedals today. But decided to give them one more comparison before pulling the trigger. The Mosky Golden Horse (Klon clone) is good enough for me. But I just can’t get behind their OCD clone. I saw another OCD clone today that actually has OCD and Fulltone written on it and looks exactly like the original...and a Timmy one too. They certainly could care less about copyright infringement. It’s the original Fulltone OCD for me. Much warmer with good mid tones. Because I don’t have enough drive pedals!!!
Interesting and informative video. I just spent an hour jamming with the Leon Drive, which was great and inspiring in it's own right .... but none of these pedals actually captures the sound of the OCD.
Great video as always, and spooky timing as I bought the OCD off eBay yesterday. Having owned the Mooer before but finding it too shrill and fizzy. Looks like I've done the right thing! Now just need the postman to hurry up!
Joyo is often hitting it out of the park lately... The new Tai-Chi (zendrive clone) is awesome. They also have a story for putting parts backwards, though. Like in the Voodoo where two capacitors are 180° wrong.
@@Gloveberg1 Presumably to avoid getting sued...? (Fulltone are very active in clamping down on clones. You can't sell the Mosky pedal on Reverb.com for example.)
I prefer using my Joyo Ultimate Drive for bass since it has a better low end response rather than for guitar. Whenever I try using it on guitar, I find that I have to EQ it somehow so it isn't as scooped and I can subtly add mids in when I need to. Maybe I should invest in the Fulltone.
@@antonr.2101 My Jam Pedals Rattler does that perfectly well as well. It has definition of an overdrive for arpeggios and everything but I still have to explore it better... I haven't been able to get “Oasis - Supersonic” intro sound as well as with the Tubescreamer... maybe it is possible... just that so far the arpeggios with definition still sound too thin.
Rat hands down. The ocd tone knob has always been a bother to me, as I can never get enough highs out of the sound as I want, and the high drive settings on the ocd sound kinda flat and flubby to me. If you can, buy a mooer black secret and get the best $30 2 in 1 rat money can buy. rat is amazing, does low gain bluesy sounds up to heavy metal without breaking a sweat and stacks amazingly with all other gain pedals too thanks to it's wide wide WIDE filter knob.
I prefer my Rat. It makes everything sound great, whatever you throw at it, and has more versatility, you can use it for crunch all the way up to fuzz. The OCD is incredibly muddy. As the other guy said its devoid of highs. To use the OCD you need to greatly reduce the bass and middle on your amp but that means when you switch to another pedal it'll he way to trebly. If you're only gonna use a single pedal, and never have it turned off, then the OCD is useful. But for me it's just a recording pedal. I couldn't use it for gigs because of the being so out of whack with everything else thing. It can sound amazing but yeah just be aware of the very bassy muddy nature of it, and the tone control that does absolutely nothing Like maybe my OCD is just broken, but others are saying it too so I guess not.
Love your method of comparison! Most folks attempt to actually play the same lick over and over, which is virtually impossible due to picking dynamics, fingering, etc. Question regarding the Ultimate Drive...is it possible you got a bad one? I have this pedal and it’s definitely fat sounding, but mine gets pretty bright when the toggle is set to high and the tone is around 1 o’clock. Inconsistencies in quality are a risk when buying Chinese clones, but their price point is hard to ignore, especially for non-pro’s like myself. ✌🏻🤔
You should check out z fx pedals! Very small brand from PA, he makes amazing drive clones (for much cheaper than the original) all hand made! You can find his stuff of reverb
Hi, it's a great video. Can you give me an advice, i'm about to buy one of these, but i don't know if i pick the "Leon-drive" or the "obssessive", wich one have a sound more like the OCD, with less high noises, like you say on the video? Thank you!
I have a OCD V2 and just bought a Harley Benton Ultimate Drive because it's cheap. I have to say my Ultimate Drive kinda sounds better than in this video, maybe they fixed ...something. Compared to my OCD V2 it has a little more gain and the Tone-Knob goes much darker when turned down. But i want to play with Tone anyways so i turn it up.
it doesn't sound very good here, but i still love my joyo ultimate drive, mostly because it's got a huge volume boost as soon as you engage it. It makes my laney VH100r sound HUGE on the clean channel. I also had the mosky and it was absolutely not loud enough
W the famous backwards diode there is no attenuation at all for half the wave ; giving more than 2.25 volts at full gain. For even bigger output, get a " Super Ra7 " , name is correct, Mosky I think, Rat clone. Just op amp clipping, no diodes. Also clips w diodes depending on the settings
Just throwing this out there. I have 2 versions of the OCD and they can both be dialed to sound like complete crap. But can also be dialed to sound great. Like most pedals.
Helpful data from another mad scientist who loves OCDs... NONE of the pedals in this video have an output buffer, so they may all be suffering from signal loss if our presenter's cable to the amp is long. The missing buffer is why people often have volume and/or brightness jumps in their chain with OCD. To solve this issue, just put a buffered pedal soon after the OCD in your chain - the next pedal's buffer will act just like an output buffer for your OCD (or clone). For me, it's my delay pedal. I've tried and owned all these beasties. OCD is the best. The Mosky missed the mark on just where the tone is "centered" (aka how the pedal's eq'ed) and I found it a bit too bright and icy. Same thing with the Leon Drive. The Joyo UD (most of them) have one of the clipping diodes reversed, so it overdrives asymmetrically. Otherwise it's a part for part knockoff of the OCD roughly version 1.2. It can run on 18volts, and sounds VERY close to my version 1.2 OCD (just a bit fizzier due to the unintentional asym clipping). Look to the forums if you want to reverse the diode and get your UD back in spec. I kept the Trouble Drive for my fly-rig pedal board. It also is eq'ed a bit "brighter", but it's close enough for govt work (or Govt Mule?), and because it's a bit more crispy it actually cuts through a live mix better than the OCD. For my backup fly-rig board, I just use a Timmy clone (Mosky's MM) or a BB Preamp clone (caline's) for crunch. Neither as good as an OCD, but they both will do in a crunch... so to speak. Keep in mind, too, that all the versions of the OCD 1.1, 1.2, etc... 2.0 all sound different. I LOVE my version 1.2 (lows and low mids, warm and crunchy) but didn't care for the 1.4 (less lows and mids, brighter and crispier in comparison).
@@darkflamerpunkboy This and the other OCD video were very much me sitting down going, okay, so how would I write a Primal Scream song if I wasn't as good as the guitarist in Primal Scream?
It's shocking how good sounding (and close to what they're copying) those Mosky pedals are for the money. I own their Rat, Mad Professor Blue Delay and their Dyna Comp and they really surprise me. I have their Mini Muff on order as well. If I didn't already own so many overdrives, I'd consider their OCD clone or Golden Horse too!
I don't think it's that hard for them to be so close because they're not trying to legitimately sell in any market other than China, where it's difficult for the original pedalmakers to enforce their copyright. Companies like Mooer and Joyo who want to sell on Amazon have to be a bit more careful about making their circuits have tangible differences to the originals. The downside of the Moskys though is that $15 translates into incredibly cheap parts that don't last (footswitches, most importantly.)
Great video, you make the best comparisons out there. I wander if the clones aren't based on the 1.3 version and how it differs from the 1.4. Also, i've had an 1.4 which was sort of a different version (i believe it's called something like 1.7, whatever) which had some difference on the circuit that made it quieter and with less gain and compression than you would expect on a 1.4 version OCD. So, the comparison might not be as perfect. The original sounds a lot better in any case, though.
I've got an OCD new one V2.00 and a Hustle and an Obsessive. OCD is just plain dull. Obsessive is quite bright and a one trick pony. Hustle does it all - and more.

I heard and saw a lot of work here. Respect to you. Thank you!
Can't agree. The Hustle Drive sounds amazing in the clean channel of mi Katana Artist
Thank you for the test!!! It seems that the tone controls on the clones are much more extreme then the OCD. This causes the sound to get really bad when they are set at the limits. It would be great if the tester set each pedal to the best sound he could get for the pedal at a given gain setting and then compare them.
Unfortunately ‘best sound’ is extremely subjective 🤷♂️
@@ThePedalBored Agreed, it is somewhat subjective. You could however, give it your best shot. I don't really care how a pedal sounds at its extreme settings...I care about the best should I can get from it...maybe at low gain and then again at higher gain. You could call it "My Favorite Settings Test"...subjective, yes, but I believe it would be a great value add.
Here's an idea for you. How about compare the drive models on your Katana with their real counterparts? For example the blues driver,DS1,etc
Thanks for being so thorough by tweaking all the knobs to really demonstrate each pedals unique qualities which is the point of a demo, isn’t it? Oh yeah, love your book collection!
After I met Hustle, I found him superior to OCD. The gain and timbre are great.
same here
X3 and way cheaper, especially now that Fulltone is dead
By far the best one of yours yet ! ♥️
You’ve been gone for quite sometime. Yes we all missed you
This is a really really honest review, great level of details
Many of the Joyos had a clipping diode installed backwards. Even just removing it improved it tons. With the diode in right it's a 1.4 OCD , without its a 1.3. BUT still different
Even still, I'm pretty pleased with my $35 Leon & Ultimate pedals. They don't even try to replicate the very same path as an OCD. They are, however, basically identical to each other.
Mosky and Caline sound good, the Caline Blue Sky is my goto OD at the moment, works well through every Amp I have put it in front of.
A Timmy clone apparently - it’s on my list for a shootout with the original once my life is back to normal :)
Hey dude, where you gone? No videos in over a year 😢
On pandemic-enforced home-schooling home-working hiatus.
@@ThePedalBored Ah that’s a shame, hope you’re keeping well. Look forward to new videos when you get chance. Definitely the best pedal demos on youtube, and your loops are low-key fire as well

I miss your videos, you run the best pedal channel at YT.
@@moronsmorons8913 Thank you
I feel the tone control on the OCD behaves differently to a usual tone control and I think that accounts for the differences in your vid.
I noticed that when I swapped out an OD Glove for an OCD, the Glove tone is set just under 12 but the OCD had to be at 2 to get a similar tone.
You can play a strat or tele on the bridge pickups on those guitars, into the OCD, into a trebley amp, and get some really meaty power chords with it
But yeah I regret buying an OCD. I should have bought a clone instead, one that allows you to boost treble as well as being able to roll it off
OCD Rules‼️Thank you for this awesome comparison‼️
Thank you for this awesome comment!!
I was scare that u wouldn't post anymore, but I found one of ur comments. I was literally in shock because your videos are so great. I found no channel that could really compare to yours. Do u already know when there will be new videos? Until then I guess that I have to rewatch all of them lol and the blues driver video had my fav riff btw.
When my life and my wife and children's lives are back to normal :) Soon, hopefully!
Hopefully I'm not really saying that any of these pedals are 'better' than others - if you're happy playing the Joyo, I'd stick with it!
Just curious, but why do you prefer to use the boss katana instead of a tube amp to demo pedals?
the best pedal comparision video ever
It’s ok I just rewatch all your videos again n again till the new one comes out. Because System of a down released a single. So I believe in you too.
I must admit I have the Joyo on my bass board for a very mild OD and it works nice.
Was eyeing the Mosky Obsessive OD for a while now but couldn't find a convincing review on youtube. Got a Mosky/Muslady Golden Horse instead. This made me reconsider the Obsessive. Nice review, as usual!
Thanks!
try the mosky ultimate drive (the one with yellow and red knobs) as it is an ocd copy as well.
@@bryanxenob5566 This one is nice ? do you have one ?
Great comparison technique. This illustrates why Fulltone sold a bazillion OCD’s.
Dave Lanciani Yes, I've read a lot online about its popularity as a bass overdrive/distortion. Glad it works for you
I've owned all of this expect for the Leon drive. The ultimate drive in this video sounded defective.
dnottis I thought it was defective too, so I sent it back to Amazon for a replacement, but that sounded identical.
Best comparison i've ever seen. Love you videos.
Yep, really good comparisson. Great and helpful conclusions. Good sound. Excellent balanced review. You are a master.
Great demo, one of the best! You just got a subscriber. I have had three of these and not owned the original OCD. It is obvious what is going on here!! Thank you
I got the leon drive and to my ear sounds pretty close to OCD... I would like to see some fulltone fulldrive 2 clones in future :)
It's on my list!
The book choice has me rolling.
Well spotted! The only cloned books I could find...
@@ThePedalBored Love 'Bored of the Rings'. Read that in the 1970s or 1980s and still remember some of the lines in it!
Great video.
Please make vids again if possible these were the best gear demos on youtube!!
theghostunderyourbed I will! Just making demos isn’t that compatible with the whole family being stuck at home during this pandemic, unfortunately 🙂
Interesting and informative video. I just spent an hour jamming with the Leon Drive, which was great and inspiring in it's own right .... but none of these pedals actually captures the sound of the OCD.
Very interesting. And to me I think the V2 OCD sounds better than any V1
(And to me the EHX OD Glove sounds better than either! Shhh. It's a secret.)
PLEASE COME BACK WE MISS YOU
Ahhh thanks! I will return! Just... not... yet... :(
Hope all is well and that you'll be able to upload some videos soon. You have been missed!!
Gloveberg Thanks! Just waiting out the pandemic. With everyone working/learning from home it’s not the easiest time to make demos. :)
The joyo with the tone knob in the quarter past soun very similar to the fulltone on the tone knob o' clock
So is this guy still making videos? Just recently subscribed and love the channel. Would be disappointed if he isn't making anymore videos :(
AZ Duke I will do eventually. Just pandemic lockdown isn’t really compatible with it. :)
@@ThePedalBored Ok cool! Stay safe!
Great video as always, and spooky timing as I bought the OCD off eBay yesterday. Having owned the Mooer before but finding it too shrill and fizzy. Looks like I've done the right thing! Now just need the postman to hurry up!
I'm always in favour of buying the original. (If the original's actually original, of course...)
@@ThePedalBored I picked up a new V2 for £30 off RRP, looking at your other OCD vids I'm happy with the decision :-)
Joyo is often hitting it out of the park lately... The new Tai-Chi (zendrive clone) is awesome. They also have a story for putting parts backwards, though. Like in the Voodoo where two capacitors are 180° wrong.
David RF .....and the story would be?
@@Gloveberg1 Presumably to avoid getting sued...? (Fulltone are very active in clamping down on clones. You can't sell the Mosky pedal on Reverb.com for example.)
@@ThePedalBored Ahhh, makes sense :)
Yessss. Great riffs. Great commentary. Great comparison.
raceface_m And great comments!
Thank you for the well executed comparison. What camera are you filming this with?
Thanks! Just an iPhone 7

Budget PedalChap Thanks!
in your opinion that you heard closely, which one is closest to the original and which was more different from the original?
Which do you think is more versatile, the Proco RAT or the OCD? They seem kinda similar, but I dont know the differences.
OCD because it cleans up perfectly when you lower your volume / picking attack
It can sound amazing but yeah just be aware of the very bassy muddy nature of it, and the tone control that does absolutely nothing
Like maybe my OCD is just broken, but others are saying it too so I guess not.
Dude, where’d you go? I miss your videos ☹️
Chris Cook Thanks! I’m still here. Just lockdown doesn’t lend itself to making videos, surprisingly. I’ll be back though! When the world is.
The Pedal Bored oh cool. I thought the ‘rona got you 😆 . Love your work!
And the moral of the story is... Klons can be cloned. Dammit... now I want an OCD. FFS... I totally didn't see that coming...
Awesome....I have the little Mosky Obsessive
Love your method of comparison! Most folks attempt to actually play the same lick over and over, which is virtually impossible due to picking dynamics, fingering, etc. Question regarding the Ultimate Drive...is it possible you got a bad one? I have this pedal and it’s definitely fat sounding, but mine gets pretty bright when the toggle is set to high and the tone is around 1 o’clock. Inconsistencies in quality are a risk when buying Chinese clones, but their price point is hard to ignore, especially for non-pro’s like myself. ✌🏻🤔
please do a video comparing the EHX deluxe XO mistress to the elec lady
Hi, I'm using the same amp, 50w Katana. If you don't mind, could you share with me your clean tone settings on your amp? Thanks!
Good critical comparison. Thanks.
This showed me once again that I really don't like the OCD .I could probably get a sound I liked out of the Hustle Drive paired with a fuzz, at least.
Все клоны дают "песочный" на верхах звук типо Boss MT2, а OCD ближе к TS9 (плотная середина и богатый низ)
great video as always man
You should check out z fx pedals! Very small brand from PA, he makes amazing drive clones (for much cheaper than the original) all hand made! You can find his stuff of reverb
Can you make more video like this? Please!!!
Hi, it's a great video. Can you give me an advice, i'm about to buy one of these, but i don't know if i pick the "Leon-drive" or the "obssessive", wich one have a sound more like the OCD, with less high noises, like you say on the video? Thank you!
I thought the Leon was more like the original.
This is awesome.
How about a video around compressor pedals next?
This is the most accurate comparison video. Clones sound shitty compared to OCD,only thing that justifies purchase is price point.
Caline makes very good pedals.
Patiently waiting for the return of the mack
Didn't like the Joyo. But I just got me a ENO Trouble overdrive (also one of the cheap clones) and have never been happier.
Dude you write such groovy licks
Thanks! Takes me a LONG TIME. Which is just one of the reasons I only put out one video a month rather than one video a week...
It's worth it, you've ruined other pedal reviews for me, I can't listen to pentatonic nonsense anymore!
@@darkflamerpunkboy This and the other OCD video were very much me sitting down going, okay, so how would I write a Primal Scream song if I wasn't as good as the guitarist in Primal Scream?
John mayor once said the way you find your own style is to copy someone and fail, I often take solace in those words! 😂
Its a great video as a reference. I'll get Ultimate Drive cause sounds good in a good price. OCD is better but out of my budget. Thanks for the video.
Best review ever👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Cool that you are using a Katana 50w! Dare to share your clean settings?
the Mooer actually is pretty cool
I've got an OCD new one V2.00 and a Hustle and an Obsessive. OCD is just plain dull. Obsessive is quite bright and a one trick pony. Hustle does it all - and more.
