Some peeps are taking issue with my thought on cats. Maybe in the video I didn't go into as much details as I should have but I'll try to here! So first off maybe my thoughts of ALL CATS OUTSIDE IS BAD is possibly an over generalization. Farm cats are a thing, and I understand that. On the other hand. Outside cats live on average of 2-5 years, and indoor cats live 10-20. They are more likely to get parasites, poisoned, eaten by predators or a myriad of other things indoor cats don't have to deal with. On top of that cats cause tons of ecological damage. They kill native birds, small mammals and reptiles, causing some species to go extinct. Not to mention the people who go a step further and don't spay/neuter their cats who make feral kittens adding to the issues above even more so! It's definitely something to think about if you think it's harmless to have an outside cat, or a cat that wanders and comes come when they feel like it.
I love my cat, but we realised every time she went outside she vomited and had to get her surgery, we now don’t let her outside, it turns out she was eating lizards
These are accurate points. Indoor cats enjoy a longer lifespan. In a lot of cases outdoor cats aren't a harm to themselves or others though, but they are more vulnerable to disease. It depends on what the cat becomes accustomed to as well, semiferals can often just not adapt well to indoor lifestyles.
We've always had a outdoor cats and our cats have always had a lifespan between 15-20 years. All it takes is taking care of them in regards to ticks and worms etc. To me its beautiful seeing the cats outside and being in the sun. I'm not saying you're wrong, they do have more risks of dying outside, but it takes some care to make sure your cats stay healthy in my opinion. Throughout my life we have had four cats and they've all lived (or are living) long and healthy lives. There's also been researches saying that indoor cats are more likely to become for instance overweight, overly dependent on their owners or aggressive towards their owners / visitors. I don't think indoor cats are necessarily better than outside cats. Both have pros and cons. Though in my opinion the cons of outside cats can be fixed by properly taking care of them by neutering, taking out ticks and giving them worm treatments and so on. When it comes to killing animals, they mainly kill mice as they're here in hordes where i live. Occasionally they do catch an unsuspecting bird, but this is so rare that it shouldn't influence this species as a whole. No hate towards anyone who has inside cats, i realize those are also valid and lovely to have. In my opinion it's simply a case of what you grew up with.

I strongly agree with this, permaspike will have a lot of trouble building up if its spikes are spread out across its range, using the smart targeting priority allows it to build up at the back of the track, losing the least amount of spikes possible

When you are stacking spike factories like this, smart targeting allows the other spikes to be used first. If you are only using permaspike and it's a 1 lane, it doesn't matter too much.
Chris, If you want to place something at a specific spot. Let go of the mouse at the red spot(Or click) and then drag the range of the tower to get a slower movement on it so you can place it more specific spot!
I use this a lot! I'm also really confused why he isn't using smart placement on the perma-spike. He wants the other spike factories to take the hit first, right?

One thought on outdoor cats, we had two of them and they never went for birds and both lived 15 years and didn't get sick from foreign viruses or parasites. If your cat has grown up in a house with parrots for example (and has been chased and abused by the birds for years) then the cat will likely not even TRY to mess with birds at the feeder.
Omg exact same boat. My EVIL birds harass my poor baby when he is trying to snooze. He likes to go outside to sleep in exotic places and is very healthy (albeit a bit tubby)
hey sjb, I have an idea for you. in some of these where you have to give yourself a bit of extra money to start with a specific set up for the challenge which it sounds like you don't like having to do, you could burn that extra money on a dart monkey or 2 off in a corner that wont attack to kinda simulate the normal starting cash. i don;t know if you will even see this or have had someone suggest it before but maybe an idea? idk love your videos regardless and thanks for the constant content :)

Bro, you should've placed the perma-spike completely at the end, upgrade it to 0-2-5 and set it on last, close or smart, that way it can build up the spikes (which have a lot of piercing power) and so that the piercing can be more effective and practically delete every bloom that touches it If u allow it to place the maximum amount of spikes, it can take down multiple ZOMG by itself
@@WingedEspeon well it depends on how u use it, cuz 4-2-0 combined with 0-2-5 is really good and will clean up almost everything on it's own if it's used correctly but yeah 2-0-5 is more effective by itself yes
@@djyourant9826 without alc buff it is better to go 1-0-5 than 0-2-5 if you are not worried about lead popping. Top crosspath gives +80% damage whereas middle crosspath only gives ~79% more damage.

SJB I don't think you need to let your audience know that you're playing HIMPS; most of them either also watch other challenge youtubers (All of them have transitioned into doing HIMPS for tougher challenges) or don't care as long as they get to watch one of your videos (me)
I have two indoor cat but feed the semi feral cats in my neighborhood. I successfully trapped and fixed all of the semi ferals so i dont have to bury any more kittens. And yeah maybe out in woods where there are not large feral/semi feral cat populations to spread diseases. In Chiang Mai we have millions of feral cats, its so sad but its been nice to do my part to try and keep the population in check. Also, the indoor outdoor combo means no geckos pooping all over my house
Chris can you do a min max spike factory build with supporting towers like engineer(for attackspeed), alchemist(for peirce and damage) + farm for econ support, we wanna see how long the spike can handle😂.
What are your thoughts on Barn Cats? We've got three cats that live outside/inside the barn during the day, and are put inside in the Barn during the night. They help take care of the mice we get on our farm, and they know where their home is

Cats on farms/rural areas might be an exception to my "automatically bad" thing :o. But generally indoor cats outlive outdoor cats by about 200% of their lifespan. So it's pretty dangerous to be an outdoor cat.
Not having an outdoor cat isn't as simple as "don't let your cat outside." It's on the breeders to stop breeding cats that have feral tendencies and prefer to be outside.
People underestimate carpet of spikes it’s really good for the price and just 3-4 spike storms can solo round 100 only if you got jar of pickles and jungle drums and stronger stim

I'm definitely not a huge fan of viking Sauda compared to her original design and voice lines. Her viking form just doesn't feel right to me. Also, I personally consider free play to be any round played after you have completed the last round of any game mode or challenge.
i really like this series! im hoping you continue it even on expert maps (if that is possible) but i feel like calling it "chimps +++" will get a little repetitive and since its the "final difficulty" of this series i suggest you call it "chimps elite" if that ever happens! :D and if it doesnt happen im very happy to watch any other content you make! keep up the great work!
Freeplay is just weird. - 41 first time you can press freeplay (on easy) - 81 bloons change - 101 last time you can tap free play - 121 money income changes. So, you can choose what you can freeplay!

A way to make the perms more effective is place it on last or smart to save its spikes! Target prio can actually help with the perms spike.
