Did he never get the unlimited range on the middle path 5? I'm pretty sure you left a lot of damage on the table because there should have been another set of missiles firing. Unless I missed it.
I play BTD5 and I've come to realize that having tons of a subs with ballistic missiles and bloontonium reactor equipped units with an ice tower right next to them makes for a formidable defense.

WOW that was WAY more difficult than I was expecting!! If subs are that tricky WITH the Brickell play, how on earth are you going to do the crazier towers!?! Good call on electing the decision of support if things get too difficult... I DEFINITELY think you're going to need it for some of these!! Hehe. I think slows should also count as support. Moab glue, bloons sabotage from the Ninja, etc.
The issue simply ends up being DDTs when you use subs.. Since the bottom tier subs can't pop lead. Brickell luckily tries the best with the Abilities but it's reaaaally annoying without MIB/Alchs etc etc.
First Strike/Pre-emptive Strike are some of my absolute fave towers in the game and I feel like people don't talk about them enough. When I can, I start boat farming really early and then set up a strat that involves like 6 first strikes all within range of a sub commander and Brickell and it rarely ever fails me. I do use some basic starting towers for the first rounds when I use this strat though, like a tack shooter or a wizard monkey until I can get my boat farming and subs going.

*Bottom path has less pierce, but more DPS (faster pulse rate). Rounds 81+ absolutely go bottom path. *Armor Piercing Darts is definitely better. 2x damage to bloons, 4x damage to MOABs, 5 pierce instead of 2 on the airbursts. All for double price. *Ballistic Missiles are better on shorter maps like the Advanced and Expert maps. They kill DDTs without Naval Tactics and do more damage overall. The missile does 6 damage to Ceramics and MOABs and has 100 pierce. Fire rate is about 27% as fast as Armor Piercing airbursts, but Ballistic sub also has airburst darts at 2/3 the fire rate.

With the beast handler tower coming up I would love to see a new tier list for tower tiers... loved those vids but I'm sure your perspective has changed on some towers plus the addition of a new tower would be a great reason to revisit those videos

Energizer has a special ability cooldown reduction of 2x within its range, which only applies to water towers. It applies to Brickell's lvl3 ability which gives her amazing uptime, but more importantly you should've put your first strike in range for half cooldown.
I could be wrong but im pretty sure middle path gives more pierce to energizer, and bottom path gives more damage. So actually you did the right path for pierce
Been really enjoying the chimps series as it's my favourite game mode, would be really cool to see a r200 chimps video if you haven't done one already, though I do understand it's very time consuming and tough on whatever device your playing on. Keep up the cool content anyway.
So I just found a spot on the first map here you tried, there is a spot in the back where it's between the two lanes and bit of land. It looks like you can't fit a water tower there but you Def can with a sub.
oh my god, im from madison wisconsin and i go there every summer to visit (by car from AZ) and a place there has the best pulled pork nachos i would ever put in my mouth. SO GOOD
it's funny that it's so hard to do a sub start on the intermediate maps, but sub start is actually not that hard at all on flooded valley, an expert map.

always forget that you can afford all T5s on a lot of monkes in this game, if i were to try this id have disregarded middle path and got an MIB on the island where the trees were and make those 000 subs at the front submergers so the sub commander fleet can hit the ddts from the get-go.

I call it reactor most of the time, sometimes I call it a bloontonium reactor but I never call it a nuclear sub.

A cool video would be synergies with chimps/certain boss tiers. For example you could do 3-2-0 village, 5-0-1 alc, 5-2-0 ice and a tackzone.
