The Full Text for those who may be interested:
1 Take my life and let it be
consecrated, Lord, to thee.
Take my moments and my days;
let them flow in endless praise,
let them flow in endless praise.
2 Take my hands and let them move
at the impulse of thy love.
Take my feet and let them be
swift and beautiful for thee,
swift and beautiful for thee.
3 Take my voice and let me sing
always, only, for my King.
Take my lips and let them be
filled with messages from thee,
filled with messages from thee.
4 Take my silver and my gold;
not a mite would I withhold.
Take my intellect and use
every power as thou shalt choose,
every power as thou shalt choose.
5 Take my will and make it thine;
it shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart it is thine own;
it shall be thy royal throne,
it shall be thy royal throne.
6 Take my love; my Lord, I pour
at thy feet its treasure store.
Take myself, and I will be
ever, only, all for thee,
ever, only, all for thee.
further to that rob we now have 3 young people learning the organ for our church long live the organ
Start them off young is the best way!
Beautiful Hymn, God bless you. Every one of us need to give ourselves to the Lord. And receive his fresh annointing to be a light of Christ in this dark age.
Many thanks!
Thank you, Rob for sharing this tune on the famous Conacher!!!
We sing it to the tune 'Hendon' here across the pond....
Great sounds abound in All Saints with you at the console of that mighty organ!!!
Dave Illar I sang this version in church as a youngster, but what's the tune name?
Its so solemn, so lordly! If that song was a man's name, it would be Granville, like Heaven is the Granville of Granvilles! All to God's glory!
Thanks!
Rob, many of the hymns you play bring back memories of my Lutheran childhood, hearing and singing them. Thank you for bringing this joy into this Yankee's life. You have a wonderful talent which says much about who you are because you so freely share it with others.
Thanks very much Jay! :-)
I served as an organist in the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church. We only used the Patmos version.
I am more than interested. Thank you very much.
For what?
lovely hymn we had this for my dads funeral in 2008
Many thanks - I'm sure he would of loved it!
Just beautiful. So well played. I totally agree that with the previous comment that you've played it at the perfect tempo. Thank you for sharing this.
Thanks!
Tempo and majestic! Seems like such a wonderful processional! I just imagine all the saints singing triumphantly as our Lord comes near!
Rob you played this hymn brautifully. As I listen to you play it IM reminded of blessings I have received from The Lord in the past and also areas of my life The Lord is working on to get me ready for what he has for me in the near future
Thanks for that Patty! :)
Totally agree about the tempo and majestic sound, so very beautiful! I admit to never having heard of, or atleast not remembering this hymn. I was reading my grandfathers written testimony for the first time this morning where he mentions love for this hymn. He passed at 95yo a little over a year ago, and always had a tremendous love for the great hymns of the faith along with a love for the organ. He was self taught and I'm sure played this too. Sorry to ramble, but I searched up this tune on YY and came across your recording. So powerful and majestic...brought a tear to my eye. Thanks for posting!
Your Welcome!
Sounds as beautiful as Joseph P. Kennedy, Senior is handsome!

Many thanks John! :-)
Absolutely heavenly. Cheers!
Thanks.
"Nottingham" is a fine tune & you played it very well.
I did indeed enjoy your playing the pipe organ, Rob. You do indeed have a new fan and I did subscribe. For me my love of the pipe organ all began in my home church First Baptist of Dothan, Al. Our pipe organ was a Wurlitzer theater organ with 3 manuals It had two organ chests. tha main one over the baptistry and the echo chest in the ceiling in the back of the sanctuary with the vox humana,marimba and chimes.
Rob, another great hymn nicely played by my favorite organist! Many thanks!
Charles
Lovely playing, as always. This is a different tune than what we use in the U.S.A.....I must say that I like this tune better. It's a bit more uplifting.
Lovely Hymn and Tune, Rob. Charlie, Aberdeen
