@@edwardbrito3332 Actually, the 2000 Rams beat the Giants pretty easily in New York with Marshall Faulk and Kurt Warner injured on the bench. The 2000 Rams also cruised past the Vikings at home. If Warner and Faulk hadn't missed multiple games that year due to injuries, the Rams likely would've won more than 10 games that year and had a bye in the playoffs - avoiding the Wild Card loss in New Orleans. Great video. Probably the biggest swing-and-a-miss was the '85 Bears-Dolphins. It was a minor miracle that the Bills-49ers never met during the Kelly vs. Montana/Young era. Titans vs Buccaneers in SB37. I desperately wanted to see Steve McNair get one more shot at a Lombardi and to see him and Eddie George face off against that Bucs D. Sadly, the Raiders wasted the AFC representation and got shellacked by Jon Gruden (who knew their entire playbook)
@@robbiesilverwolf Because if Mahomes gets sacked, INT pass that falls short of the endzone = GAME OVER. Plus New England was playing deep, he'd have to throw into triple coverage. Taking those shots isn't dangerous it's pure reckless and stupid.
As a 49ers fan and lover of football history, that 49ers Bengals game had a very interesting back story. Bill Walsh was the Bengals offensive coordinator and after Paul Brown retired, he didn't think Bill was tough enough to be a Head Coach, so he had the DC promoted and Walsh left for Stanford and eventually SF. The Bengals were using Walsh's system to take their team to the super bowl. That game was a revenge game for Bill, and a perfect example of why his offense changed the NFL, as it was a mirror match, but the author of the offense won in a tight battle. There is more to it, but this comment is long enough.
I’m a Bears fan and the Bears and Dolphins match would have certainly been exciting. The Bears could have gotten revenge on the Dolphins and it would be interesting to see how they would adjust their defense plans. Of course nowadays seeing the Bears DESTROY the Patriots in the Super Bowl is actually entertaining to even non Bears fans, since the Patriots sucked back then!
I would add Super Bowls 27 and 28 could've both been San Francisco vs. Buffalo. This is significant since their starting QB's, Steve Young and Jim Kelly (respectively), had already produced 3 great classics - 2 great USFL matchups plus the famous "No Punt Game" were the only 3 QB duels between these 2 Hall of Famers. Also of note is that Dallas Cowboys fans would be a lot less annoying on social media.
I honestly don't think a rematch on a neutral field would've worked out well for the Fins in 85. The Orange Bowl was like a 12'th man for them that night. They caught breaks. And McMahon didn't play. The notion that the Bears defense was susceptible to the west coast offense falls apart under scrutiny. Nobody runs that offense better than the Niners and the Bears held the defending SB champs without an offensive TD in 85. It was just a bad game.
2007 already have the perfect matchup but it could have given us Packers V Patriots. Brett Favre in what people thought his last year against the undefeated Patriots. A franchise that Brett won his 1st and only super bowl. Maybe he would have retired for good if Green Bay won. Also Giants Chargers. Eli versus Rivers.
It was even colder in Champaign, IL that weekend, wind chill around -64 and even colder in Chicago. I felt bad for those sorry suckers having to play football.
If you do another stadiums video, you should consider doing the best high school stadiums. Make sure you cover the ridiculously expensive stadiums built by Allen ISD and Katy ISD in Texas. Also note that the Allen ISD stadium was closed down for repairs after only 1 season due to poor structural design.
being a huge 49ers fan there is actually something that gets overlooked a lot during the catch game of the 1981 NFC championship game which is that when the cowboys got the ball back they had some time to drive down the field and if it wasn't for like a shoestring tackle the cowboys would have won on basically a last second touchdown pass. But everybody seems to either forget that or not know about it. Cuz really that tackle is more important than that touchdown because had that tackle not been made then the touchdown wouldn't have mattered. I will what you going to do.
During the Drew Brees years, Saints fans dreamed of facing and beating the Patriots. I also remember in 2011 the best teams in the league were actually the Ravens and the Saints. That was a match-up I would have liked to see.
As a Packers fan you forget a few! Packers vs Patriots 2003! The year Brett Favre dad died 2007! Brett Favre last year in Green Bay 2011! 15-1 and done! 2014! That Damn Seahawks game! 2016! The falcons game were a early fumble changed everything!
Another fun one would have been XXV-if Roger Craig doesn't fumble Bills face a Niners team looking to 3 peat. Although Steve Young would have been starting as Montana had a broken finger suffered when Leonard Marshall blindsided Joe Cool in the NFC title game.
Although I don't know what year would've been best for it, I'm gonna throw a Manning brother Super Bowl in the discussion. Considering that Peyton & Eli had mirror image careers (Peyton is one of the best regular season QB's with a choker label in the playoffs, while Eli is a derp in the regular season who is statistically one of the best postseason QB's of all-time), it would've been interesting to see them square off at least once. Just the build up of Peyton's legacy vs. Eli's SB heroics would sell the game.

Imagine if we got that 54-51 Monday Night game as a Super Bowl? I bet if we got a Rams/Chiefs rematch it would have been a dud just like we got with the Rams/Patriots haha.
Patriots vs Saints would have been the best outcome of it all
Titans vs Buccaneers in SB37. I desperately wanted to see Steve McNair get one more shot at a Lombardi and to see him and Eddie George face off against that Bucs D. Sadly, the Raiders wasted the AFC representation and got shellacked by Jon Gruden (who knew their entire playbook)
Don’t bet against the pats, the football gods with crucify you on my bookie
I personally would've been interested to see Jaguars vs Eagles last year.
Can we agree that Andy Reid is the worst Playoff coach ever?
One of
It wasnt bus fault that the cheifs lost tho mostly the defence killed that game for them
*his
Why didn’t he take a couple shots in the end zone at the end?
@@robbiesilverwolf Because if Mahomes gets sacked, INT pass that falls short of the endzone = GAME OVER. Plus New England was playing deep, he'd have to throw into triple coverage. Taking those shots isn't dangerous it's pure reckless and stupid.
Love your vids keep it up
As a 49ers fan and lover of football history, that 49ers Bengals game had a very interesting back story.
Robert Kraft paid of the refs with Mac n Cheese and Ranch
Enough
letourneaut He owns Kraft who makes ranch cheese all that crap
Cmac DaBoss 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I honestly don't think a rematch on a neutral field would've worked out well for the Fins in 85. The Orange Bowl was like a 12'th man for them that night. They caught breaks. And McMahon didn't play.
The notion that the Bears defense was susceptible to the west coast offense falls apart under scrutiny. Nobody runs that offense better than the Niners and the Bears held the defending SB champs without an offensive TD in 85. It was just a bad game.
If they called the fucking PI we’d get to see Brees torch Brady
Super Bowl 16 would have been a blowout if the Chargers made it, that defense was awful 3rd worst in the league in points allowed.
Biggest fan back! Loved the vid man!
Literally cried my eyes out when chiefs lost, but then I saw you posted a vid
18 minutes... Still crying
Eli versus Rivers.
i got cold when you said -59.
It was even colder in Champaign, IL that weekend, wind chill around -64 and even colder in Chicago. I felt bad for those sorry suckers having to play football.
8:48... idk why but that had me weak asf🤣🤣🤣 “who tf is that guy”
Love the vids
I've got one where the wrong team advanced.
Dez caught it.
As a Broncos fan, I thank my lucky stars he shanked that FG. Minnesota would have murdered us.
Gotta love double refball
1986 Giants and Browns super bowl would've been cool to see, same with Jags Bucs in 99
You should do a review of the change in the over time rules since the early days. Maybe a comparison of the NCAA rules.
Packers also could've played the Pats in 2007, Favre vs Brady
Ok good video but how did you make this so fast?😂😂
Rodgers can thank the Jets for his SB
I got a “We ready for Y’all” ad for this video... liek if you cri evrei tiem
Great spelling
0:40 well this didnt age well
As a Packers fan you forget a few!
Packers vs Patriots
2003! The year Brett Favre dad died
2007! Brett Favre last year in Green Bay
2011! 15-1 and done!
2014! That Damn Seahawks game!
2016! The falcons game were a early fumble changed everything!
Love all the vids!
A Packers VS Patriots Super Bowl would have been unwatchable! I have been afraid of that match since ARog & TB12 came into the league Yuck!
No one to root for in that one
This video is going to blow up. I can feel it.
I hope so :)
Another fun one would have been XXV-if Roger Craig doesn't fumble Bills face a Niners team looking to 3 peat. Although Steve Young would have been starting as Montana had a broken finger suffered when Leonard Marshall blindsided Joe Cool in the NFC title game.
I would love to see a rematch of dolphins bears
Sb 39 should of been steelers vs eagles battle of Pa and big ben becomes the first rookie qb to win a superbowl
I'm sad we aren't getting a Brady Brees superbowl
2019 Superbowl should have been saints vs patriots
As a Pats fan I always wanted to see Brady vs Brees/Rodgers in a Super Bowl. Also living in Houston, I’d love to see a Texans/Cowboys superbowl
Yes. Would have been good
