If there is one thing I've missed most about the more recent Fast and Furious movies, its definitely Paul Walker.
Paul Walker was the star of the series. The movies were about Brian O'Conner and his journey. Dom was fine as a foil for Brian, but is a completely uninteresting character on his own. There is nothing to his character and he has no character arc. So they just have soap opera "events" occur around him (Letty's dead... no she's alive. Han's dead, no he's alive. OMG... there's a baby from Elaina... now she's dead. OMG, his long lost evil brother is back to do bad things... etc, etc, etc.)

@@GabeGX While I agree about the first film being Brian’s movie. The movie was a hit for the same reason pitch black become so popular. Vin Diesels undeniable charisma and star power. I don’t know what happened. Maybe Vin doesn’t care anymore or he just lost that charm and can’t get it back. Who knows. Writing is the problem though. We have tons of characters but all of them are written flat the last few movies. The films are trying to coast on fans already loving these characters. It stopped being enough after F8. They need to get a real writer and don’t let Vin dictate story. Character should come first and then focus on a couple huge set pieces. Feels like the opposite is true now.
I liked it when there was no barbecue at the end of the movie. Truly mind blowing.

I'm not against a cliffhanger ending but this one screamed to be continued lol like it literally felt that another half of the movie was missing so they ended it there. The muffin scene I'm not gonna lie was the funniest thing I've seen all year so far. The post credit though...welcome back Rocky you just know he's not gonna put up with Dantes bs lmao
Johnson and Momoa have to face off in Fast XI. I’d pay the price of admission for that alone
I like cliffhangers especially when it's in a big franchise just keeps you of the edge of your seat waiting for the next part
Well Vin Diesel did accidentally spill in an interview that this was the start of a trilogy (hopefully to end the series). So with 2 more movies they will wrap up the 5 subplots they made in this movie (Dante hunting Hobbs, Gisele Letty and Cipher leaving Antarctica, Shaw taking down the top mercenaries that used to be with the Agency while going against or teaming up with his brother and mom, and what happened to Dom's crew when their plane nuked out of the air. And of course Mr. Nobody and his daughter helping out the family from the sidelines)

I love this film, Jason momoa was definitely the highlight of the film, he feels like a villain who knows he’s in a fast & furious film and goes with the flow, and adds something we really haven’t seen with a villain when the past villains always seem to serious for a unrealistic franchise, I’m also glad they addressed Hobbs/The Rock was the one to finish of Reyes in the post credit scene, there’s more I want to say but I don’t want a long A** comment
I was saying the same thing when they revealed Hobbs! It better not be an ego reason for killing off Jakob. I wanted to see Cena and Rock share the screen together atleast once.
The part where Dom meets Peter and asks him if he wants to join his family. But Peter says “Sorry Dom, I already have a family… and I’m a family guy” made me shed tears.

I think if they want to make this a trilogy finale then they need to do Hobbs and Shaw 2 and have it connect to Fast X and Fast 11. They can have Shaw’s plot line and Hobb’s mission against Dante and the big plot in the first Hobbs and Shaw movie connect in some way.
Thats exactly what I was thinking. And I believe they can do it by having the big villain (the computer) being Dante controlling Idris Elba the whole time and that’s how Hobbs ends up finding Dante’s hideout too. Then that’s when Hobbs(assuming it’s a sneak peek of the next movie) ends up finding out that Dom is in trouble and runs to help.🤔
The post credits scene ties into Hobbs and Shaw 2. Dwayne Johnson returns as Luke Hobbs, I believe Dante will go after him and so will the Director of Eteon.
The voice on the computer in Hobbs and shaw was voiced by John Cena so that very well could have a connection to Jacob that could tie into the main franchise!
I think we need the payoff from the end of Hobbs and Shaw. Also what about Ryan Reynolds character from it. Since they like to retcon alot of story would be nice to see Carter Verone make a comeback or even DK from Tokyo Drift.
Bring back both,DK & Carter V. Those 2 plus Dante vs The familia will be epic

Well expect for these four villains in dragon ball never become allies Cell, Cell Max, Zamasu, and Goku Black. As for Fast and Furious these never became allies Carter and Takashi.

@@erenjaeger6196 The original ending of Furious 7 before it was re-written due to Paul Walker's death featured a post credits scene where a team consisting of Johnny Tran (would been revealed to have survived), Carter Verone, Arturo Braga, Zizi and Deckard Shaw are brought together to go after Dom and Brian
On a character level I kinda wish they played up more of Dom doing these heroic acts as a sort of redemption. Because in those flashbacks they do not shy away from showing the collateral damage. Dom and Brian surely kill a lot of people and cause millions in damage dragging that safe.
My favorite scene is when Tess told Jason Momoa “I have nothing to prove to you”
That part where Dom was about to fight Optimus Prime and Dom said "it's family time" I cried tears of joy

I love how this felt like Batman vs the Joker and a pinch of an Avengers movies...it's come to the point when I can say that Dom is Superman and completely invincible...he's going to literally unlock the ability of flight to escape the dam overflow.
People in my theater were cheering for: Gal Gadot, The Rock, the fights, the stunts. Laughing at the jokes. So they must be doing something right.
To know if they doing something right is the box office if it is a flop or success. this movies cost $350 m to make it gonna needs 1 bills to start making profit. Your theatre clapping means nothing.

Dante in this movie reminds of WWE wrestler Seth Rollins, who is actually going to be in the next Captain America movie (I assume as a villain). So if you liked Dante in this movie, expect something similar in Captain America.
I disagree that Cipher is family now. Cipher was desperate. Knew that Dom could help because she had info on Dante. I think she’s helping right now but I don’t think she’ll end up at the barbecue. Like she said. Enemy of your enemy is your friend. I think Hobbs was a cop doing his job, same as Brian.
Well we still don’t know if cipher will be part of the family but if they do this I will leave this franchise because I’m tired of this franchise making villains into good people the Shaw family I’m fine with that but making cipher redeemable no that’s BS
I think Gisell is working with Cypher because Cypher found her body after the plane incident and created the tech to heal her, the same tech we saw Letty and Cypher use to be healed/patched up before they decided to fight again.
I like this theory better than the one where giselle is being blackmailed because of cypher was blackmailing her there's no way she'd smile like that when she saw her
My theory. I feel like fast 11 will be Hobbs & Shaw 2 following Shaw rescuing his mom and Dante going after Hobbs. Fast 12 will pick back up where Fast X ended.

@@mannyblunts8675 Dom was told that when he started, he could accomplish a lot with driving and spying, but now, in the age of technology, a man in a car is insignificant, meaning that he'd have to evolve, or something like that. Then there was the thing with God's eye, and how Ramsey saw its effects. I know it wasn't too big, but I was like, "aha!" when that happened.

The Hoover Dam scene took me out of the movie honestly. I felt my intelligence was insulted as an audience member. However, the space scene in 9 was the icing on the cake.

I do feel like before they end this franchise, they'll need at least one scene with Paul. Even if it's a supra pulling up and saving someone in the climax finale, and a old scene of Paul is reused with old audio.

I really loved this movie! It felt more emotional than anything else because I love these characters a lot. For me this one is my favorite films so far in The Fast Saga. I literally can't wait until 2025 for the next one this was everything I wanted it to be it actually feels fun again

Yes there is a lot of enemy to family in these movies, but I wouldn't go as far as to say Cipher is family lol. It's very much a the enemy of my enemy is my friend. It would be crazy for her to show up at a barbeque.
That's why the fight with letty took place. It would be weird receiving cypher as her friend in that situation.
Letty couldn’t neither believe or forgive her. So she did fight with her to take some revenge
I think Fast10 was a little better than Fast9. I think Jason Momoa was just perfect as a villain. Jason Momoa does look like a version of the Joker. I just hope that at the end, Jason doesn’t become part of the family. Also, I wonder if John Cena (Jacob) actually died? The post credit scene really had me thinking it was gonna be Bryan under the mask. I wasn’t really expecting The Rock to come back. I think Fast11 will be Hobbs & Shaw part 2.

Han's girl survived the fall because Paul walker did the craziest drift and managed to pull her in the car in time so she wouldn't hit the ground
It really feels odd not having Brian there. I'd like to see Fast X3, or Fast XII whatever it's called, to be lead by Brian, and shows he's been saving the day in the background this whole saga.

I couldn't have agreed with u more throughout this entire review. U have a unique way of describing how it feels to have a connection with a franchise and wanting it to be good, but also can be honest and say it's pretty damn ridiculous at this point. But for some reason we keep coming back lol
Kinda makes sense for Cena to be killed off... Dwayne and Cena can't be on the same screen yet alone Vin and Dwayne... Wasn't Cena like a super spy lol

The one really cool part of the movie was when Vin was at the race and Isabel gets out of the Yellow Datsun with an RB engine. Vin says one of my friends would really appreciate that (or something similar to it). This was a cool nood towards Han, since in real life he has a car very similar to it.

I haven’t seen the movie yet but I really want to see this review cuz let’s be real nothing in these movies is that much of a spoiler lol.
Dom's friend (Green Porsche) is the guy who Dom and Brian won the GT3 from in Fast 5
Why do i get feeling Fast 11 and 12 will do what Avengers Endgame did with Tony dies and Steve retires passing of the torch set up Dom sacrificing himself dying to save his family while Little Brian, Jack, and his sister are passed the torch taking over family leadership. Set up next generation for future reboot or spin offs focusing on O'Connor siblings and Torretto with their own crew
It kind of makes sense that Gisele is still alive. I mean, since I watched Gisele die for the first time, I already knew she had to be alive because she didn’t fall from a high altitude and Owen Shaw fell from a way higher altitude and still survived, so, if Owen survived, I already knew that Gisele should also have survive ‘cause it would just make sense
I'm gonna cry out of laughter when in part 2 or part 3 they end up resurrecting Jesse, Vince, and bring in Leon and the Villains of the first movie and have them be Family hahaha. Also they probably will bring back Tego Calderon, Don Omar, Twinkie, Sean Boswell, hell even Takeshi and Morimoto

Really good & love the whole family thing. But i whish they could get more back to the roots of the car culture & not all the crazy action stunts.
BUT happy to see them have a bit more in this one!
Love to see old carachters back, ( they have done it since three & four) so I am not surprised. But bringing them "back from the dead" does not just quite seem right...
Missed Sean in this one, hopefully he will be back for 11 & 12 :)
They somehow now need "Brian" to "save the day" in the last one! It would be a great homeage to Paul, & very fitting, as he & Dom IS the fast saga :)
One of the reasons why this film was loved MUCH more than F9? It was a direct result of one of the most fan favorite Fast films; Fast Five. It had that SAME energy throughout the film, where you know that this is insane, but its all in good fun and nothing can beat the family and pure American muscle.
Just shut off your brain and enjoy the lunacy, with Jason Mamoa doing *EXACTLY* what was needed for the film. He knows this franchise is batshit crazy, so why not play into that feeling and give the fans what they want?
F9 felt like it was taking itself almost *TOO* seriously, if that's even possible. I mean, everyone *except* for Vin Diesel seem to be playing into the silliness or at least aware and there's Dom in this series going "THE STREETS!...... 😮.... *ALWAYS* .... WIN." 😐 and they even went to SPACE! And not in a fun way, like, "we need to put rockets on this car to catch up to a train carrying a nuke!" Then accidently shooting into space for whatever reason. They SHOT. INTO SPACE! To destroy a weaponized satellite WITH THE DAMN CAR! Tej even saying "it's Math an science, RELAX."
Bro. When the cast is taking it too serious, it kills the fun. When it's fun and silly like this, then it's just good cinema fun. No Way in hell this franchise will win an Oscar anytime soon, but it's a weekend fun activity. And that's fine.
This movie was unbelievably dumb, but I loved it so much, I was kept hooked and laughed the whole movie
Every time I think back at the movie, it just gets even more ridiculous than what I saw...I was okay with the big chase scene in Fast 7, defying the gravity, but damn, this one just...just wow 🤣🤣🤣

how did Jason Mamoa character escaping death each time they tried to kill him , escaped from explosion, escaped from falling off cliff, escaped from this and that . also where was he setting up bombs before the race they had?? when did he have time to fly to Portugal to plant a large Bomb in Portugal Dam and fly back meet up with Dom do freeway bridge action and fly back to Portugal to try to blow up Dom and Brian Jr . Dom driving down a Dam using Nitrous boy, that was crazy as Hell .
