    Great video, thank you! I just switched out 2 bulbs and it took no time. There are several different types of bulbs so make sure you get the right ones. One was for the right side of screen where the time shows and the other for fan speed. Part numbers are 90010-09015 and 90010-09017. Amazon sells them for around $5.50. BTW I have a 2006 4Runner/SR5.

    Thank you! Your video instructions are clear. The right side of the LCD screen went out on my 2007 4Runner, but I will be replacing all the bulbs whilst the panel is off.

    Thanks this really helped me I was about to hit the junk yard to try to scavenge some bulbs but thanks to you I just grabbed a pack off Amazon for 7$ they all fit perfectly except the 2 for the display where a little smaller than oem but still work was actually way easier than I thought it was going to be if anyone is thinking about going this route it's super simple and I'm half blind if u can change a bulb in a Xmas light socket u can do it just take your time with removing the yellow bulb covers I had 2 that melted and ripped but just used throes as rear defrost and recirculation

    Very Helpful. When you buy the bulbs from the dealership; can you get them with the casing so you don't have to thread the bulb through, but just twist them back into the dashboard panel? Thanks

    • @bullseyenate231

      Dwight Bohm, yes. When you buy them at the dealership them come already in the casing. They are around 4 to 6 dollars a piece depending on which ones you need.

      Keibert J Rincon M, I purchased my micro lamp bulbs for my car at radio shack. Radio shack is actually going out of business so you may not have one locally but you may find the online.
      Here is the link to radio shacks website of the bulbs you need for your climate control knobs.
      www.radioshack.com/products/radioshack-12v-microlamps-2-pack
      It says they only have five left in stock so if they are out by the time you go to order I would maybe try amazon next.
      The actual bulb is an12v Micro Lamp with a current of 60mA.

      Anthony Indovina, I do not have the exact SKU; however, you can purchase these at your local Toyota dealership parts department. They will basically just look them up In the computer for you when you give them tour year make and model. Also here is a link to eBay that I found that is for the bulbs for the LCD screen 2003-2009.

    • @bullseyenate231
      @bullseyenate231  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Geoff, I would try and use a flat head screw driver in order to get underneath it and try to pry on it while you are turning it out. It may be stripped out due to someone cross threading it previously.
      Worst case scenario you will have to drill it out but then you will have to figure something out for re-inserting a new screw.

    This is not entirely true the LCD back light bulb are bigger than the rest of those bulb.
    The fan control button use bulb shown here (3mm x 7mm)
    But the LCD Screen uses bulb (5mm x 11mm)
    So if you want to replace the LCD back light bulb the bulb show here are not the right ones.
