    Not bad for 1st one... I detest these boilers I almost cry when I’ve got to change one of these..
    I had to change one in a compact a few weeks ago that was in a tall kitchen cupboard and it was a nightmare job that took me over 2 hrs , only tip I can give you is I always spray penetration fluid on all the connections and leave to soak in for a while before removing anything , it’s a big help and I can do one of these now in about 45 mins , same old story the more you do they become easier...
    Cheers mate...👍

    At least you wore gloves and never fell victim of a notorious Worcester bite on the hand 🤣
    Nice job 👏

    Legend, thanks mate. Fixed my boiler for £20 instead of £300 (what BG wanted)

    Hi, I normally spray everything up and remove the flow and hot pipe before trying to twist it off the bypass and then fit them last, should find it a lot easier then👍🏽

    Good job as you have never done one before, only additional bit of advice I would give is : turn the gas off, crack the gas nut on the gas valve a few turns, crack and remove the gas pipe on the gas iso, lift and move back, that way it will allow more movement of the manifold for removal and refitting :)

      Nice one mate, yeah I realised this after and did it on the next one I had and it made it a lot easier!

    I’ve discovered this problem tonight in my Worcester 28i Junior. It’s dripping water. Debating if I have the wherewithal to tackle it. The replacement is basically £20 in Screwfix. Can I reuse the same copper flow pipes?

      Please don't attempt a DIY repair on your boiler, get a professional in to do it 🙏🏾

      @@cputilitysolutionssorry only seeing this now. This situation was way worse in the morning. Water everywhere and defo out of the supply manifold. Switched off and Isolated everything. Removed and replaced the manifold. It only took me about 4 hours..😂 but it worked and the boiler works like a dream now. Also seems to have fixed the constant drop in pressure…spent years refilling when the gauge dropped to zero. Needle has not budged in 2 days since fixed. Cleared out siphon filter also which was full of gunk. We have a 2011 Worcester 28i junior. Father in law is a bit miffed that I did not call him..he is a retired boiler engineer…think he is more muffed that I was able to do it without his help. I did put several calls to engineers and put an ad through Check a trade…no a single person responded which is fair enough Christmas week. So either I tackled it or had no hot water or heating over Christmas…wife a young kids. As I didn’t have to go near the gas, I tackled it- I would never go near the gas outlets. Good to learn more about boilers. But your video was a massive help…

    I cut the manifold to the left side of the bypass, it makes it easier to get out.

    Not on the juniors mate but theres an 8 minute venting programme you can run similar to vaillant P.0 not a lot of people realize its there. On other models and newer ones

    Quite painful to watch , but you made a big mistake of not spraying all joints with release fluid for ten minutes before attempting any removal , also putting in the flow and hot pipes into the bottom of the manifold first these need to go in last , also you need to release the gas pipe off the gas valve and outlet connection of jig as that hinders left your hand when pushing the manifold into the bypass pipe . This replacement should take approx 40 mins . Hope the above hints help you on the next one. 👍

    The white clip that broke bro, you clamp and pull to the left it releases then you twist up to the right and it comes off
    Excellent vids .. learn alot from you thanks 👊🏼

    • @cputilitysolutions
      @cputilitysolutions  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man. That clip was already broken by the previous engineer, hence why I had to change the flow pipe altogether as well. I thought there might be a bit of the clamp left but he'd chewed it right up
