even though the podcast wont be as heavily edited anymore i feel like it still retains that certain level of quality as the previous episodes. its nice to hear that more episodes will be coming out more frequently now

about the quality of editing over quantity of the episodes: the well-edited first episodes are possibly my absolute favourite videos on youtube. I really appreciate the visuals, they are amazing and i've rewatched the first 3 episodes several times each.
BUT I prefer for episodes to come out more often and not have heavy editing. The lack of visuals takes absolutely nothing out of the podcast, this episode is just as good as the previous ones content-wise.

He really does. I get so frustrated when they just don't acknowledge it because dude's so funny.
He's that one guy in the squad who doesnt really talk a lot but when he does, someone gets absolutely flamed
I think reasonably with visual stimulus in the podcast is just including things that are contextually being show to eachother, good example being the gifs Pyro was spamming in chat. Also I do enjoy the generated images they are fun. But overall more frequent uploads for topical subjects is preferred personally over like intense editing. I do still love your editing and visuals tho nerd hug hug kiss kiss
the æsthetic on this podcast is amazing, the 3d low poly lip synced animated spinning heads are so cool
The editing for these have been astounding, and even if these were to lose that, the current dynamic the podcast has is amazing.

I really like the headspinning 3D audio synced avatars, and the screen in between, flashing images and videos for context, i mean genius. This is a high quality audio podcast visuals. Good gob, waiting for the next episode already.
I’m completely fine with these not being as intensely edited as the previous episodes, just adding context/ the clips you’re currently talking about is the perfect balance. I’m willing to listen to pure audio anyway so any visuals no matter how minimal are a plus in my book

I would really appreciate it if you put the audio version on podcast platforms. I do have TH-cam Premium but podcast players offer much more control over your listening experience. I still think the draw of podcasts is primarily the audio side. The conversations are really interesting and edited well, the visuals are just a really nice bonus on top.
I would prefer more regular uploads, i think the podcast doesn’t suffer from a lack of visuals.

For what it's worth, regarding your last point, I think this hits a sweetspot in terms of quality / frequency of uploads. While the visuals were impressive in the first few, I perhaps didn't appreciate it fully since I had it on whilst working. This one, I actually watched all the way through and thought the visual references and amusing AI-generated pictures kept it interesting enough to watch as well as listen.
i see that colossal's nap time reduced to 250 years instead of 500
I feel that it was good to over edit even in just the beginning since I’m not that big into podcasts but the editing in the first couple episodes helped me ease into the genre more and now I’m excited for every new upload
Please don't let this podcast die, I've just discovered it and it's probably the best/one of the best podcasts I've ever listened to. I imagine it'll get much better over time too, as podcasts do.

This is the msot high quality podcast really, like, it didn't need to have images and etc, but it does and that's awesome, even though it will probably not have the heavy editing from the last ones from now on, it's still awesome, keep up the good work!
dont know if you guys are reading the comments, but really enjoy this format. ill have it in the background when im chilling with something where i dont need to concentrate too much so i listen and even notice the editing. i think your doing fairly well with making a great podcast, you guys have great chemistry. so in my opinion, keep it like you did this episode, i think its great content. anyways, have a good one, cheers.
ps. how tf does this last season of BCS not fall off???? i wait for it to go bad every episode cause thats how most series have gone even though i love BCS and BB, but it just keeps pumping out these instant classic. it will be a long time till we have a series with this much quality again

I quite like the way this was edited. A handful of stills can give you just enough visual information to give you context and some of the "generated by AI" memes were pretty funny. So long as it's not too time consuming to put together, I think it's a fair balance.
To be honest, the visuals are an amazing addition. But id trade it for more frequent uploads.
For me, the visuals is cherry on top and how it was edited by Nerd makes it more distinctive than other podcasts but I don't mind having less visuals since I listen for your interesting takes on topics with its clusterfuck moments.

Would be thrilled for more frequent uploads. Appreciate the dedication to visual quality but, at least for me personally, it's generally on one of my secondary screens and i'm working or playing smth while listening. I do like the AI generated shit that pops up on occasion when i look over tho. Great episode as usual!

I think the editing is great, it's simple, coherent and funny and most of all it does in fact help my ADHD brain wrap itself around some of the things that are being said.

When they were talking about the crime shows and how obvious the killer is, it made me think of Columbo.
In that show the guilty guy is always the one reporting the crime right, but it still hooks me in every bloody episode cause its just presented so interestingly.
Not to mention that the final parts of the episode when he tells the guy how he found out it was him is always presented so well.
Absolute genius.

To comment on the editing, big ups to you having the audio quality of each speaker be mostly similar. It is one of the most distracting things ever when a podcast has one person be very load and the other hard to make out.

we're here for the chat. The visuals are nice, but not necessary. Your dynamic, the jokes and jabs and general discussions, are what keeps us coming back. I appreciate the thought, but we definitely are keen for more casual frequent uploads. Especially considering I might pass away before Nerd or Colossal post again.

@@grandarkfang_1482 that's true, you don't necessarily have to sacrifice one for the other, but since they mentioned heavy visual editing would mean significantly less uploads, I would imagine most of us would prefer more frequent uploads of this mostly audio driven podcast if the other option is much less frequent uploads involving some more visuals. I do enjoy the spinning icons depending on whoever is speaking, but I wouldn't mind if it were just an hour of various goose images (ie Dolans family tree).

Pyro was late because he was reacting to someone else's content. I can definitely see him being the #1 streamer on TH-cam in about a year's time.
At 28:41 i can confirm this is true, I sometimes see kids as young as 6 years old driving motor cycles, BUT, I only see these types of stuff in the countryside and never in the cities since the police would instantly stop anyone who slightly looks below the age of 18 and there is little to none police officers in the country side. (Although take this part with a little grain of salt since I spend most of my time inside because I watch pyro)

I've actually tried bird nest soup. It tastes very nice but the texture is a bit meh. People consider it a medicine.
I'd much rather have frequent uploads (every week or two) than have monthly uploads that I can somewhat watch, especially since the point is to listen to this whilst doing other stuff.
These episodes have been a good compromise with the visuals. I always felt that the first episodes I needed to watch because of the extra enjoyment in the visuals, but now I can just put this in the background and glance over every now and then to see funny AI images.
