Thank you. I won't recommend the mic i have cause it isn't that great and I have to run my audio track through audacity before I upload every video due to lots of background noise. However I recommend the blue snowball microphones. They are affordable and supposedly good too.
when I first started using zoom, the first few meetings were really great and went smoothly. as I started using it almost every other day, in about the middle of may i started to have some problems. It was either I couldn’t hear anyone talking or no one could hear me talking. And yes my volume was up. Can someone please tell me how to use it correctly and how to make sure my audio works because school is starting soon so I need it!

I host a knitting group that meets twice a month, but it would be nice on the off weekends to do something smaller that doesn’t require us to go anywhere while also being able touch base with everyone… Enter Zoom! Only… I have not been to many zoom meetings and the last one I attended I disabled the camera and mic because I think I accidentally raise my hand or interrupted something, and I was just not confident at all. This video was well made and explains things clearly. Was this tutorial based on the Free/Basic version? If so, the only drawback I found, was when you described how to schedule a meeting. The audio section that you had on screen is no longer an option for the Free/Basic version. Zoom use to allow you to select for participants to join by telephone, computer audio, or both. The telephone feature is now only for paid versions according to a response I received from Zoom support. Thank you for your tutorials.

I think the best option would be to uninstall it from you computer and then reinstall it again and see if that resolves the issue.
