"AMOUREUSE WALTZ" Played On 1905 Mira 18 1/2 Inch Concert Grand Console Music Box

Here is one of our 1905 Mira 18 1/2 inch Concert Grand console disc music boxes playing "Amoureuse Waltz" also from 1905 and composed by Rudolphe Berger. I bought this particular disc years ago sight unseen as I knew the song and did not have it in my music box disc collection. When I received it I was pretty disappointed as it looked pretty bad. I relegated it for the longest time to the 'unplayable' group of music box discs. Then one fine day I decided, what the heck, I'll give this disc some of my attention and try to bring it back to life if I could. The results can be seen and heard in the video. It still looks pretty bad but the sound it produced really stunned me and taught me a lesson. Don't judge a disc by its cover... It's now among my many favorite discs to play on the Mira.
