@@lillydog12 if you apply B1/B2 visa from EU, Australia or esta visa program country then it will take no longer than 1hr 40 mins when you get past security, the only paperwork you need is confirmation of DS160 appointment, Police Conviction certificate, and passport, nothing else. For uk its ACRO certificate for police. Non esta visa country it can take up to 3 hours, DS160 form and all evidence required ie strong family ties to your home country. Remember 1 thing, us embassy will not accept police certificate from some country as you can pay people to make you 1 and there is no way to check you will need to contact embassy for further instructions before you book your appointment. If everything is fine your v8sa will be granted passport either will be delivered at dx, post office pick up, agency pick up or us embassy pick up. It depends on your country post service. If its refused you will get everything back. If you have morning appointment say 0800 or 0900, then keep the morning free, depending how long it takes for you to get there Good luck, dont hold anything back
Update. I don’t know if this was because I paid 20 pound express delivery but my visa was processed and sent to DX (the distributor) on Tuesday then sent to me Wednesday morning. Was a great service. I went to London on Monday. At summer camp now, so lucky to be here!
Unrealistic representation. Queued for an hour outside just to get to the first point. Once through security it was basically a free-for-all no order to the queuing. Ticket numbers were not being called so completely pointless. I'd made friends with someone in the initial queue. He had to leave to store his laptop in a different building. He managed to rejoin and be seen before so many of us because the opened a window and just took the next people in the line. For such an important building it was carnage

But in her DS160 , her name is correct and also match with passport name. It is just wrong in appointment.
