Amazing! I’m lucky enough two have two Porsches but I have never done one thousandth of the work that you’ve done. Sure, I change oil, brake pads, a slight mod or whatever, but you are incredible! Almost no Porsche owners (or any make for that matter) can say they’ve touched virtually every nut, bolt, screw, clip, you name it. But you have. Wow! It’s been a lot of fun watching you. BRAVO!
Amazing work Matt. Wasn’t sold on the spoiler but now it’s on together with the carbon splitters I think it looks perfect. A credit to you for all your hard work and patients filming it all for us!!
A TH-camr who actually finishes projects, bravo 👏 seriously, so excited for you! Thank you for the content, keep up the good work, excited for future builds
Back in 2010 Suncoast Porsche was blowing out Terracatta mats for 25 dollars a set to get rid of them, I bought 4 sets! This has been a hell of a journey, much props for sticking with it!
Huge Congratulations Matt. Car looks Amazing. Have been Following The Build. Can't wait to see it 100% completed. Cheers Matt. Greetings From Trinidad 🇹🇹
Much respect for the build, I've been following for months. HUGE amount of work! I do agree that that wing needs to go. Doesn't jive with the rest of the car.
Matt, this journey has been a real treat. Thank you. I've been toying with selling my MKIV Supra and getting into a 997 Turbo. This series does not help at all!
Looks incredible, you got to be so proud of yourself. It didn't even take that long. You were like, oh yeah body swap a Porsche, no problem, it'll be the sickest car ever in like 3 months. Well done sir. If I were you I would go out to my garage and just stare at the 996 and 997 for no reason every morning.
Black/ carbon wing w body color end caps(would tie in nicely with the carbon valance and lip), black turbo badge on the rear decklid, no window tint and gold centered BBS. That's all I would do. Congrats! Been a heck of a project.
I love your confidence that the front lip will never touch anything 😂 they are always the first to go. Truly a magnificent transformation, great outcome. 😊
Rockerpanels/ sideskirt in carbon . There are some nice ones out there . Flat but come out to the side to match front and rear 🎉 Nice work with everything .
This is fantastic Matt - as others have said, I’m also not a fan of the massive wing (and I’m sure you’re gonna sort out the Turbo badges on the back) but appreciate an oem turbo spoiler is crazy money. You gotta get the PCCM+ though….none of this aftermarket junk inside 👍
Looking good, I dig the amber DRLs. Nobody around me understood my excitement when I recently found oem e36 m3 floormats (which you probably know are like gold), I get it!
Congratulations Matt! This 997 turbo has been an incredible project & you should be very proud of the end result of all your hard work. The car looks amazing in grey & the carbon fibre splitters, black rings around the headlights & other subtle touches really sets the car apart....well done!! Really looking forward to seeing what modifications you will be making in the near future. However, I know it's your car & what you do on it is your personal preference, but for me, I would reconsider that rear wing .....IMHO, it's a bit too much for a road car. Keep up the great work! 👍🔥👍🔥
From BMW? :) Fair slip!
That's why it's so expensive. hahaha
I heard that too lol
“ Porsche dude Porsche 😅😅😅😅 I thought it was just me 🦻🏽
lol. Heard that. While they are both German I do t think their parts are interchangeable. AMD is that a red BMW wing I see hiding in the next bay.
Matt, this 997 is just Stunning! You amaze me with your tenacity!
Great build. Not a fan of the surfboard on the back though.
I always thought a low-profile duck bill spoiler would be a nice touch on the car. Also, color-match that front spacer.
It's what came with the car lol. No one liked the RS wing??
@@matt13rosslove love love it!
Awesome work, came for the 996 and stayed for the 997. Can imagine that feeling of satisfaction knowing you’ve put the whole car together!
Spoiler end plates black. And swap the steering wheel for the 991 one. Is a direct fit. Congrats, great journey
Steering wheel for sure!
The exhaust tips....that angled exit diagonally cut pipes is the sexy. A beaut you made.
BRAVO!
Thanks so much! Now I can't just enjoy regular mods and not giant repairs lol
Not "virtually". He touched EVERY nut/bolt!🤯
Amazing work Matt. Wasn’t sold on the spoiler but now it’s on together with the carbon splitters I think it looks perfect. A credit to you for all your hard work and patients filming it all for us!!
Matt, BAD ASS!!! I love the color combo. Congratulations!
A TH-camr who actually finishes projects, bravo 👏 seriously, so excited for you! Thank you for the content, keep up the good work, excited for future builds
Well it's not quite finished yet lol
Looking back from where you started, car looks totally amazing Matt. Awesome job! 👏
997 for the win Matt. A stunning build and car, I absolutely love it. What a journey... great viewing.
Back in 2010 Suncoast Porsche was blowing out Terracatta mats for 25 dollars a set to get rid of them, I bought 4 sets! This has been a hell of a journey, much props for sticking with it!
Matt you are my hero in life mate. The 997 looks spectacular. Great job by you! Fantastic and very entertaining watching you do the restoration.
With the exception of that spoiler, this is one awesome build. Well done mate.
+1 on the spoiler.. destroys it completely
+1 on the spoiler.. destroys it completely
Agree 💯 percent
Nah, I love it. It's definitely subjective though.
Lots of hate on the wing lol. It's an RS rep!
Many congratulations! I've followed the whole build and you've done an awesome job. Look forward to the mods & a shift knob!
Man Matt. You killed it with the 997 Turbo build.
Congratulations on such a great project. I can’t wait to see where you go from here.
Thanks so much! Mods coming now! And the secret car
Thanks so much! Now time for the M3!
Huge Congratulations Matt.
Car looks Amazing. Have been Following The Build. Can't wait to see it 100% completed.
Cheers Matt.

Hugely complicated project to take on but the results are stunning.....you`ve got to be proud of your achievement!
Great job there Matt, well done.
Wow the most stunning 997 Turbo i’ve seen.
Way to go Matt, it's been quite the journey. Car looks great exactly as it is.
Love the build, one of my favorites to follow since the beginning, well done!
Awesome, thank you!
The white with that color interior looks so good. This car is sick.
Congrats Matt, the 997 looks great!
Congratulations…she’s a keeper….you made all the right resto and mods…it actually went way smoother than I expected (not that my POV means anything).
Amazing how Porsche managed to match up those mats with the faded carpet.
I had to. 🤣
Ahahahaha
Much respect for the build, I've been following for months. HUGE amount of work! I do agree that that wing needs to go. Doesn't jive with the rest of the car.
So you don't think the gt2rs "jives"?
Beautiful car Matt! You did an awesome job. Can't wait to see the mods.
Dude!!! Night and day difference!! Badass!!
Congrats, it looks great, love the chalk body colour and the amber side lights look good with it.
Must say that the original wheels looks great on the car.
(Don’t forget the rear Turbo badge)
Looks amazing! I feel like a proud dad? You are so talented Matt. Can’t wait to see what rims you choose.
All I can say is wow 🤩 what a transformation from shell 🐚 to this awesome project 💯🥇🤛🏾🔥
So satisfying seeing it get to this point, the stoke is high
Amber is the ticket-I also think you need to wrap the wing end caps to break it up. Otherwise that is a gorgeous turbo👌
Good job dude. I thought you were crazy for taking this project on. Turned out great.
Dude!! Came out amazing what a journey this has been!!
Congrats buddy! Enjoy that beast for now
Matt, this journey has been a real treat. Thank you. I've been toying with selling my MKIV Supra and getting into a 997 Turbo. This series does not help at all!

Looks fantastic! Good choice on the color .
i love every car part that is carbon fibre so much and those bumper lips are absolutely gorgeous 🥹❤
I totally agree!
Nicely done Matt, another absolutely stunning car. Love the care & attention to detail you've put in. 🏎️ Love from the UK.

Also, I think the spoiler makes the whole vibe. I wouldn't ever change it.
I like it too!
I could watch this all day. Good job 👍 can’t wait
Black/ carbon wing w body color end caps(would tie in nicely with the carbon valance and lip), black turbo badge on the rear decklid, no window tint and gold centered BBS. That's all I would do. Congrats! Been a heck of a project.
I'm thinking carbon fiber wing actually
Loved watching this series- amazing work
I love your confidence that the front lip will never touch anything 😂 they are always the first to go. Truly a magnificent transformation, great outcome. 😊
Hahaha hope it doesn't get destroyed
Great job! Sweet ride bro.
Yep, that bottom bumper cf piece is WAY better and cool looking.
Rockerpanels/ sideskirt in carbon . There are some nice ones out there . Flat but come out to the side to match front and rear 🎉 Nice work with everything .

love the amber leave it like that! what a beautiful job!

Def upgrading the radio!
Hard work pays off Matt!
Congratulations it’s a plum 👌🏻

I dig the wing! And it came with the car lol
Glad to see you kept the stock turbo rims. Now about those black apex rims.....
Finally! Bruh was killing me! Nice Job 💫💫💫
The bettle at 8:00 minutes proves that a Porche is a VW Bettle 😂thanks for sharing this awesome video.

Wow you made it! Awsome work
Didn't liked the color choice then but it looks great now, you need to loose that huge spoiler

It's coming along nicely
Awesome Matt!

Amazing WORK ❤️ 👍🏼
Such a sick project 🔥🔥
Amazing to finish this. Changing a shell on a Porsche in your garage! Think across the 996 and 997 I’ve seen you remove tail lights 25 times.
I'll be doing it more too lol
Looks amazing man. 👏
Nice E30 in the background
Nice work it's come a long way !
