2:16 I bet the only reason why he only said skin gorilla rather than giving an actual detail it would have gave away the surprise on what kind of creature he is actually talking about, if he would had said a green skin gorilla with sharp teeth and sharp claws he definitely would had been describing the hunters.

These are interesting. Next one should be one of the cop journals from RE 3 that talks about the police efforts to fight back against the hoards of undead. He talks about how a friend helped him but when it came time to return the favor he froze and ran away and left his friend to be eaten alive by zombies. It ends with him talking about getting drunk on whisky and ready to blast his own head off with his shotgun.
Lots of potential for sound effect storytelling with zombie moans and gunfire, screams and probably ending with a swig and a shot.
I definitely have a couple interesting ones planned out next!

Seeing the is reading has me hope the next Timeline series would be the Silent Hill franchise or The Evil Within... Or both
So, I'm always curious about this file: what do folks suspect that the creature described by Scott was? A Hunter? A Chimera? An Eliminator? Some enemy we never actually see in the game?
Most people think a Hunter but the way it's described, I've always thought it sounded like an infected gorilla. Zombie Apes were gonna be RE2 enemies until they were cut from the game. I like to think the file is a reference to them.
