this is good. i opened the hood today and was like 'how the hell do I get the hard ones out!' and closed it up for another day. This has been very helpful!
Good video. I replaced mine a while back. The middle passenger plug is definitely an art form to replace it. The only recommendation I have is the use of dielectric grease on the boot. I wipe mine in the porcelain portion of the plug then slide the boot over then plug. Filling up the boot like that at the 8 minute mark could get it in the metal portion of the plug where you do not want the dielectric grease.
Ahh got you. I always thought you wanted a little bit on the metal to help reduce arc and provide some insulation and lubrication to it. But got it. Thanks for the recommendation and for checking me out!
Nice video and good tips. I found the coils in the newer cars are easier to remove in tight spots vs the older two piece ones. I will say, Denso plugs aren't great. In fact I would rather re-gap stock plugs then use Denso. HKS are more money but definitely the way to go on this engine.
Hey man, I noticed your ambient lighting install and wanted to do the same for mine? Where about do you live I’m from Greenville, SC and I just want it done right. Your’s is perfect

Nice for sure. Do you have Instagram?
Whoever designed this bit, should never be allowed to work in automotive industry again. For regular maintenance item, geez.
Haa well there’s much worse out there.
It's not really a big deal
Yea. Front wheel v6 can be way worse.
