Mobs in Black | Episode 1

It all started here in Torbung Bangla. Roma narrates her first hand encounter of the day.
"On May 3rd, I witnessed a large crowd dressed in black costumes, armed with sticks and weapons. I hurriedly bought groceries and returned home, only to hear that the mob had begun burning houses in Phousekhai Torbung. As the situation escalated, we contemplated seeking refuge at the Border Security Force (BSF) Camp, but it was too late. The mob burned all the houses along the road, forcing people to flee to the river. We, a group of women, ran while the men followed behind. Numb and exhausted, we continued our journey, encountering obstacles and witnessing the destruction caused by gas cylinder explosions. Eventually, we reached Kangbai, our intended destination, but not without enduring hardship and witnessing the loss of our homes and belongings. The incident was unexpected, as we had no previous disputes with the Kuki tribe and had not anticipated such devastation".
