Great totorial. Thanks. She still seemed bogged down at the end. I definitely would’ve replaced the plug. Often times it’s just the plug, even if it visually looks OK.
I purchased the same kit for a customer. He is though missing the rubber hose that goes into the carburetor that covers the adjustment screws. I agree with the previous comments about making some adjustments. Maybe you could have mentioned that the choke is built within the air filter and shown where it made contact...just a thought
The screws help adjust the fuel flow. It was bogging at the end because 1. You had the chain lock on, so it could rev up with the influx of gas, or 2 the screws needed adjustment. There is plenty of videos on how to do so. I would also recommend to swap the bottom vent hole for the one on your old carb. There shouldn’t be, but unfiltered, unrestricted air may be entering your saw. I would also recommend wiping the old gasket with isopropyl alcohol , and the new carb back. Just to make sure everything seals properly.

It’s like shifting to an under power geared in you car. It bogs.
