Thanks for doing this review. I just purchased this identical unit expect its branded as a Vevor instead. Nice to know they do what they say and last. Thanks again
I have the same frig for about the same amount of time. In the summer I leave it in my daily driver so I can have cold drinks. Also have a 55qt with LG compressor for long trips. Had both 2-3 years. Real happy with them.
I've got 3 different 12 volt fridges, Alpicool, vevor, Outsunny. All use the exact same compressor. But when I measured the temperature on the compressor. They can run very hot. But are still going strong.
I've had my Alpicool C15 for over 5 years now using it while driving a semi, an expediter Sprinter van and now that I'm retired in my truck camper. Thinking about getting the larger C20 just so I can put 10" tall gallon milk jugs upright in it. Will they fit in the C20?
Thanks for your review :) Just ordered one based on yours and how many are happy with this. A question please, have you tried to insulate it at all to see if the performance (power draw) is improved? It's not exactly hot here in UK very often and I run a 300w panel with 135Ah Lithium battery. It's just that I saw one or two vids say it may be not insulated as well as it could be
I've never done any testing but with 300 watts of power and a nice lithium ion battery you will be able to run this for a long time no problem. I dont think there is any issues with the insulation on it personally, but I'm sure with some extra insulation the efficiency could be improved. Cheers
@@wasatchmotoco it's surprising, vevor, alpicool and outsunny all use the same compressor but they definitely have different insulation. I did a test between a outsunny 18ltr and alpicool 15ltr. At one stage there was 12 degrees different between them.
@@wasatchmotoco my vevor 35ltr has been bulletproof with a nice little bonus of a Bluetooth app which the alpicool is the same. The outsunny looks the best but was heavily discounted. The compressor ran incredibly hot. But did have some nice features. Included a internal light. I wouldn't want to steer you wrong but vevor has been very realible for me.
Loved it!

Just ordered one on sale from Amazon. I didn't see too many people using that shut off feature, but that seems like an easy way to deal with it.

Do you think I can charge with camping outlet which is 30amps or do I need any converter. Sorry I'm newbie on electric 😅
Easy... they come with an AC converter to plug right into an outlet and they only consume 40-60 watts when the compressor is running.
