I’m literally learning from you bro, your build is already 🔥, I have my brz coming in a few months, do you think I should add these oil catch cans as well! Like would You recommend? Or should I not worry about it….
Obviously, no one wants oil in the intake. But the oil is less likely to clog the valves, since the BRZ has both direct injection and port injection. The newer cars with only direct injection don't get the added benefit(side-effect) of fuel being spray before the valves(that port injection does). The port injection ends up washing the valves constantly, so buildup on the valves doesn't really occur to any meaningful amount. Again, no one wants oil in the intake period. I've seen some VWs get enough buildup to catch idling issues and such, but those are just direct injection. I added a catch-can to my 2018 Camaro when i owned it for this reason. Also, it's been found most of the blow-by(checked with oil analysis, look some up) is primarily condensation, gasoline, and a little oil.
BRZ defect, is that subaru STILL uses the inferior flat 4. Just yeet it into the garbage. Make a normal 4 cyl that can compete with hondas K24 already! Subaru motors are TRASH.
I just came across your channel.. this is the cleanest build I’ve seen soo far!
Definitely subbed, I want mine like yours 😂
Probably minus the wing
Thanks for the sub! You can do it!
I have a mishimoto oil catch canon my 17 brz. I check every 3 months. oil is in the can every 3 months

Thanks! I appreciate it. You’re gonna love yours. I would recommend it. It’s an investment for the life of your engine.

It’s was gonna steal the show 👀😶🌫️
Have you ever dropped the oil pan to check for rtv?
I did. It had some. Check the end of my header install video.
haha naw your cats cool. Leave him in the shots.
I love them, this black one always hangs around me. 😂
IMO these are a waste of time and money. A lot of fuss for no real gain. Just another gadget that requires periodic maintenance.
