    This is probably one of my favorite projects of yours just because of how modular it is. “All of this is extra, you can do what you want.” The best projects are the projects that inspire other projects.

      Thank you! If you have a Hobby Lobby in your area they have tons of stained glass although kind of pricey. But lots of colors.

    Try gluing your plane shavings to plain glass using a variety of woods for an interesting effect.

    I feel like this could be easily modified a lot of ways. Really neat project. Would be cool to add an arm to the bottom (or a pipe fixture?) to make it into a sconce light!

    This is neat! I am going to have to try it but will use custom epoxy resin sheets I make for the "glass". Even though I love the sound/feel of cutting glass as I also do glass fusing in a kiln. I may even make my own custom glass sheets as well. I also would use epoxy resin in place of contrasting wood in the outer groove. :) No matter what you use the possibilities are limitless. :D Thanks for sharing. - Heidi
