Man it's fun to watch and listen to you play! Such confidence, command, and control of the instrument!!!
Great cymbals too! Those riveted rides are glorious!!!
Thank you for sharing. Continued success and Happy Drumming!!!
I would say; everything together is tonally complete; cymbals, drums and of course the DRUMMER..
Love the way that Craviotto looks Rick!!
I have some Bosphorus antiques and new orleans type rides thin that are nice. these Sabians are Excellent, and traditional crashes same exact weights 18 and 16 .beautiful playing as always Rick.
Hmm. I too have a Ralph Peterson model ride cymbal, but it’s a 20” Oracle by Bosphorus (1959g). He must have made the cymbal maker rounds. Granted, the Oracle is a different manufacturer but it seems completely different from your Sabian. None of those large hammer marks, kind of a bowed profile, and it has the largest bell of any cymbal I’ve ever played. It has wide lathing on both sides, is very dark, but still has a fairly bright stick sound. I got it used for a great price and kinda like it. It’s a keeper. Love your channel, Rick, and look forward to every new video.
Mr. Rick Dior, do you know if The snare drum used to record Pink Floyd Dark side of the moon was a Ludwig Superphonic?
