That looked like a real pain of a job to do. I have to perform similar plumbing on my truck because the old lines are rusted pretty bad and I'm not looking forward to it. I don't have access to a lift so that makes it harder. Don't want anything to blow out while driving so it has to be done. Looking forward to hearing your truck run!

Teacher, you answered my project question. Can an external transmission cooler be hooked up with all steal lines instead of the typical rubber hoses and clamping method.

Was that a dab of JB around the rivnuts before they were inserted and expanded? Vid was a bit fast/unclear at that point, if it was is that just a bit of insurance against coming loose?

I often use JB Weld on rivnuts for both extra containment, as well as sealing from rust.

@@GregWellwood I was wondering what was going on! I just was thinking or wondering about JB welding on the new pop rivet rocker rear door body I created. hahahaha. Thanks for the inspiration - and the blues music!

I have had bad luck with the line straighteners. Some will square the line and the sleeve won’t go on. I have used the hand held ones and then the vice style. Maybe just me. Dunno.

This project is a little like fusion power..."we'll be ready in 20 years" - the other similarity is the power you will get out...enough to run a small town.

My "teaser" of it driving came out last week :)

@@GregWellwood I saw it, but a comment is a comment....did you like the bit about running a small town?

Yes. Brings back memories - I used to live in a small mining town up north, powered by two diesel locomotive engines.
