Usually, two. But you can snap one into two pieces if they are sturdy and long enough.

Torsion, not tension. Pulling it will achieve nothing.

It is also called a torsion wrench, but in my opinion that's a little to much. It has a way too strong sound to it, so I prefer tension tool.
