- This is a video tutorial to show you all how to pick open a lock by creating lock picking tools made from paper clip. This life hack is so easy to do and works for majority of lock as most locks work in the same way. my dad and i plus friends were house sitting and we left the key inide with the door locked and had to pick it
This was a skill I learned as a kid. I was given a locked box on the premise that I had to get it open. It took me about 2 hours to pick it, I did not know how useful the skill would prove at the time. As an adult I rarely worry about losing keys, picks can be made from darn near anything. And If I cant pick it, a can of freon and a punch will make quick work of it.

Important to note that there is a trade-off between the methods. Raking is quite easy, and decently quick, but it can result in side-loading the pins, leading to lock degradation after repeated attempts. Picking them individually is slower and takes more skill, but it only uses vertical pressure on the pins, meaning that if it's done right, there should be no damage whatsoever to any lock. Both of them are fine for practice locks, but I'd recommend the latter for if you are trying to enter your house after losing the keys. also, keep an eye out for spool pins and other defensive mechanisms, as they can lead to a false set and require you to reset the lock. It can take quite a bit of finesse, but definitely possible.

When my neighbor was taking out their trash it was full of stuff but one thing caught my eye and it was a ps5 box. The next day my neighbor and his wife went somewhere but I didn't know where they went but I was thinking that they might not be gone for long so i had to be quick. I watched this video and picked their lock and then once the door opened I heard a woman say "dad? Is that you?" I quickly ran back into my house and luckily the woman didn't see me but I assume that she was the neighbor's daughter so now i know that she protects the house while they're away so there's no chance of stealing the ps5 at all as long as she's there.

A friend recently gave me a suitcase and two brand new locks. When I went to lock the main section I found that there was a small, older padlock already on one of the tabs I need to put my new lock through. After about ten minutes, I was able to open that lock so I can use my new lock. Thank you for your help!

This helped me get started. I just tried it for the first time and I didn't even need the 2nd clip. I have the same clear lock and a new set of lock picks. Thought it would be fun to play with when bored. Anyway, I put the first one in and was able to pop it right open. 😱
I thought I was lucky and accidentally hit something just right so I tried it several more times. I was able to open the lock within 10 seconds each time. Guess I need to buy some more locks! Thanks for the tutorial! 👍🏻

Pro Tip: When you make the pick, the tip of the wire should be bent so it curves upward slightly. This makes it easier to work individual pins.

Literally the most helpful video I've seen in like... two years. There's a lock case over the thermostat at work and for whatever reason my manager hates the AC and is totally ok with it being 76-80 degrees inside with it being hot af outside, there's no airflow, and I start sweating the minute I walk inside. I work alone at nights and I'm sorry but I refuse to be miserable. Now I can turn the AC on whenever I feel like it! No more sweaty miserable nights for meeeeeee.

If you don't have the key then you can't take it to a locksmith to get cut which means that you'd need to get a locksmith to come to the house at a ridiculous rate and have to prove that the shed belonged to you before they would get started.
