I just cut the top and bottom of the garlic and crush it just a little by using the surface of the knife. Peeling it off is easier than ever using this method

Explanation: Heat and moisture help peel garlic when microwaved. The process:
Heat: Microwaving garlic cloves warms them within. Garlic cells expand quicker than the stiff skin. The clove-skin bond weakens, making skin removal easier.
Steam: Garlic has water. This water steams when microwaved. Steam pressure can assist peel garlic cloves.
However, microwaving garlic can soften or burn it. Microwaving garlic at maximum power for 15-20 seconds is recommended. To avoid burns, let it cool before touching. This procedure may somewhat cook the garlic, changing its fresh flavour.
Because heat can reach individual cloves better than an entire head of garlic, microwaving individual cloves is better.
I tried it accidentally without knowing that I could peel them easily. But lost the taste of it.
I wouldn’t recommend it. Probably crushing with knife is better idea.
