The importance of fiber in our diet, especially for gut health, cannot be overstated. Increasing vegetable and fruit intake is indeed a simple yet powerful way to promote long-term health. Thanks for this valuable information. And can I how I can get that 'Dosa' T-Shirt..! 😅

I m so fan of your channel that words can't explain. I have a request if you can make a tube on basil seeds. But at the same time omega 3 in content in a table spoon is sufficient for our daily need. So why rush for chia....?!?!

Are these effects cumulative? 2. Does freezing starchy vegetables like potato, arbi, sweet potato also increases their resistant starch content? Thanks
More than freezing, regular cooling in the fridge helps build resistant starch. Freezer is typically too cold for any physical or chemical changes to happen. In fact, I put bread in the freezer to prevent it from staling (which is what resistant starch build up does)
Good info and most importantly the points you suggest are practical and doable for working class. I have one curious question on vendakka. Whenever we cook vendakka we add souring agent like tamarind or tomato or roast in oil until the sogginess is removed. Is this wrong? Are we loosing fiber by overcooking?

The arsenic is absorbed via soil into the grain. Draining method will at best reduce a bit more. Soaking and discarding water also reduces it.
