His entire first verse is about a girl he wants to spend time with, and him bringing up the politics in the second is supposed to be a comparison to represent how the girl is on his mind and how he wants to be with the girl to relieve the stress he has from those political worries.

"I Don't Mind" by Usher feat. Juicy J should've been included I feel. The song is about how Usher doesn't judge his girlfriend for being a stripper as long as she's making money and staying loyal to him.

Definitely made me remember 50 Cent on "Office Hours". While Nas' theme is pretty loose, talking about his more lavish and business orientated life in his later years, 50 comes in with somr half bars about violence then just adlibs some random conversation and ruins such an incredible beat with Nas giving such a perfect and energtic flow. Would've been such an incredible track off Magic 2 if 50 didn't ruin it

You should do a underground version of this since there so many that don’t fit the themes

I’m probably alone on this one, but I thought Lil Pump had a hidden message in that song because at the end he says “I guess I’m going to miss you though”,I think this means he’s bragging about his life and money and all of these things to try to hide from the fact that he misses this woman, And it fits with the song well because it shows he loves that woman so much that him coping with his fancy lifestyle isn’t working.

GOTTA talk about Like That. Nobody really acknowledges it because its objectively so good, but most of it is a standard future track about fuckin bitches and slingin dope until kendrick shows up aggressive as shit, beginning the great 2024 rap beef. its like bringing a gun to a knife fight but it isnt even a knife fight its just the club, but somehow the gun makes the club get litter and makes everybody love you

It needs to be said that I was not listening to Avril Lavigne until this remix of her song came out and it made me feel something. went back and listened to the original song. I do love the original song but there is nothing like that remix and nothing has come out like that since

I know it might be unrelated to this topic, though sort of, but since you mentioned about XXXTentacion’s verse was used in Kanye West’s The Storm, I’d consider that more being what you quoted before “Frankenstein Monster’s type of song, crafted together with leaked verses from voice memos”, so I’m actually wondering if it would be a good request for you to please make a series based on that, considering of most leaked verses from deceased artists that ended up on big name artists’s albums as features, though you could make comparisons like the best vs worst uses of leaked verses.

Lil Wayne sounds like the type of rapper that, most of the time, doesn't give a crap about the type of song he's featured on.

To be fair on the first one, apparently Lil Wayne doesn’t write down what he raps. And he probably only got given the beat so they let it rock bc DJ Khaled is a weirdo anyway

Talking about purposely off topic raps, idk if it counts but I remember that when i was younger I liked the song I wish by Cher Lloyd. She sings about not feeling good enough for a guy and how she wishes she could change to be the type of girl he likes, and then T.I. raps from the guy's perspective basically saying how it's not worth it to change herself for him cause he'll forget her in a second.
My English wasn't very good back then, so when I finally managed to understand all the lyrics it made me appreciate the song a bit more idk
