I’m listening to the newly released “Cher: The Memoir, Part One.” Cher’s life has been so full that it requires two volumes! As the publishing blurb says, “It is a life too immense for only one book.”
When people say reading isn’t political the first thing I say is “have you read or watched the show The Handmaids Tale?” Or the Black people werent allowed to read or how about there are books being banned from libraries and schools.
I still rotate the h*ll out of Jojo’s album. Both of them, the original and the remastered one. Love her down! And I only like to listen to memoirs as well. Them narrating it makes for the best experience.
I listen to Leave And Too Little Too Late 2018 versions. Let me give Use My Shoulder 2018 version a try. I just found out today that Shay Mitchell wrote a novel. Also, thanks for introducing Charlene Carr.
3:17 no but fr what is REALLY going on ??? Lmao that cover. If you liked James you might like Erasure by Percival Everett, it’s pretty hilarious but has a good point.
I tried Luster and just couldn't get into it. Maybe I prejudged it. I want to read James but am apprehensive. Reading and books are definitely political. If it wasn't why do we not have better representation in major publishing and why they want us to VOTE once again for these white authors for GR choice awards. Not to mention it's your channel and opinion. Talk about what the hell you want. And grab that wine fo sho.
“Turn that BIH ON! Turn it on, IMMEDIATELY!” 😭😭😭😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Attention shoppers: Man mumbling in aisle 4.😁
😂😂😂
Turn it on...IMMEDIATELY 😂😂 nah but fr preach

The parking lot people are the same ones that sit in front of you in a nearly empty movie theater 😂.

I said I was gonna read that one too, but I watched the movie that’s based on it. Now I’m stalling because I feel like I know what’s going to happen.

I haven’t read Luster, but every video I’ve watched where someone is talking about it, share the same sentiments.
