I have loved reading for years, I am in my season years and I love it more and all these channels, but you, I love the expressions and singing OMG, you have the best channel out of them all. Keep up the great work.
I think you’re the 1st book reader TH-camr that I heard say “I was bored. So I was out” 😂 My vibe when it comes to books I just don’t vibe with! And OMG “Here One Moment” idk where I stopped but I was still on that damn plane 😂
I definitely understand the long chapters. Sometimes I have the Jeopardy theme song in my head. I am so thankful to meet another reader who doesn’t have a problem of DNFing. There are so many books out there to be enjoyed. I don’t have the time to waste on a book that’s not catching my attention. Great vlog!!❤❤
Interesting to know about the Liane Moriarty book- thank you, because I probably would have bought it. I LOVED The Measure, too. Maybe I’ll just eventually get the Moriarty book through Libby. Thanks Dezmond!
You made my day!!! You have the best energy, I laughed so many times. Keep reading, keep sharing! Here are a few books I really loved this year: if you like scary, spirts- Shutter by Ramona Emerson, Native American writer, so so good, and the 2nd book Exposure. The September House for a good haunted house book. Margo's Got Money Troubles, I really recommend audiobook. An epic book, it's long but fast read, All The Colors of the Dark. Did you already read Sky Full of Elephants, would love to hear your opinion on it?
I don’t like long chapters either! Especially on audio, bc I don’t like to stop listening in the middle of a chapter. I liked Here One Moment! I felt like all the little details added up. I’m not sure I would have enjoyed on audio. Jfyi, I read a couple of books from your previous videos- Colton Gentry’s 3rd Act, not bad 3.5 ⭐️. And God Bless You Otis Spunkmeyer, 4⭐️ I really enjoyed. I think you’d like Otis, as long as you’re ok w stream of consciousness. It’s short and there’s not a lot of fluff. Happy reading 📖!
Definitely enjoyed this video!! I also agree with you on not reading at 1.0 speed because who does that and why?! 🤣😂 I'm looking forward to the next video. K.C. Mills is great! Innocent Intent was a little slow then it picked up a little bit. Solid read. I wouldn't say it's her best work because she is a romance/urban fiction author. Report back if you finish it.
Awww man I picked Blue Sisters for my BOTM club pick last month and was so hype, but you’re the second ot “my” book tubers who thumbs down-ed it . Appreciate youuuuu 📖🪱💚💚💚💚
If you want to read another book with Yellowface vibes and neurotic FMCs, try You Will Never Be Me by Jesse Q. Sutano. It’s about 2 completely unhinged “influencers” who start as friends until things go left. It starts a little slow but it definitely picks up.
Long chapters definitely make a difference. For 1 it gives you a stopping point. Like dang, can I pause for a moment and come back!! 😂😂
Okay! Cause if you won’t give me a good stopping point, I’ll make my own.
@@DezmondZ sure will!!!

It’s a mind thing with me with the long chapters. You make a song out of anything and it tickles me. I love your channel.
I love your videos , so much personality 🎉your one of my favorites 😊
Thank you
"Promised Land: The Encoding" deserves a read, great book!

If you want to read a good fantasy I recommend Zoo City by Lauren Beukes.

When you said you DNF Blue Sisters I felt justified in me having no desire to read the book lol.
I love me a dezmond zee video. ❤❤❤❤
