10-time Olympic swimming medalist Caeleb Dressel reacts to NBC's coverage of him crying at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
If you did not see NBC Sports' coverage of this moment, Caeleb was in the warming area after the 100 butterfly final, and he was crying. A lot of Olympic fans debated whether or not this was ok since Caeleb was seemingly in a private area, and, more the to point, fans debated just how long the NBC camera stayed on Caeleb while he was experiencing this emotional moment.

Dressel needs to neither explain or apologize to anyone. Such an incredible body of accomplishment that drove the sport of swimming forward showing what was possible. Great interview Mel.

This man is alot of people's hero, including myself. He gave us a shot in that medley relay against a Chinese team that was more than likely on something and WADA or others covered it up. And we still could have very easily won. Amazing stuff! However many meets this man has left, or if he has none, we enjoy and enjoyed watching and are forever greatful, you did us all proud!

He speaks very well. I don’t know the back story to all this, but came across well here.

crying is normal in sports especially on the biggest stage. MJ and Curry both cried too.
Those complaining about it are jealous they never accomplished something truly amazing.
Like Teddy R said, "man in the arena".
