best device ever props to unihertz
they actual worked on the shortcomings of phones rolling out nowadays
they kept headphone jack , IR blaster , fingerprint sensor , Nice hardware and software experience i just love my unihertz
i use it to stream spotify whenever i am travelling.
nice phone easy to carry in pockets without the risk of breaking display brings nostalgia of the times when phones were actually fun.

Great to see some real world use of this phone! I could hardly believe it when I saw that it had has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM. Doing research for a reasonably sized phone never led me to this device until today.

this is a really cool device for "minimalizing" your life. you still have all the features of a smart phone, but you don't want to use it for more than you have to, because of the shorter battery life and tiny screen.

Lasts a full day with regular use. I often have 67% charge left at midnight... or even later.
      ~2 days with light use.
You can run it flat in less than a day if you use it a lot.
Battery life seems similar to or better than most other phones.

Great review. I hope you are able to partner with Unihertz. I have the Jelly Pro (Jelly 1) and I have the Unihertz Titan Pocket, I’ve been eyeing the Jelly 2 since it was announced but I still have not got it yet. For when you are going to the gym, I don’t know if T-Mobile lets you do it (I don’t see what not), other providers let you do it, to get a E-Sim card which is a copy of your SIM card. I don’t know if you have to carry your Note 10 with the original SIM and leave it in your locker while you workout listening to music on your Jelly 2, or if you could just leave your Samsung phone at home and use the Jelly 2 without a problem, that’s something you have to ask T-Mobile. Anyhow thanks again for the review, it helps those people who want to carry their phones in their coin pocket. The Unihertz Jelly 2 would be ideal for women’s pants pockets who don’t like carrying a purse to carry their gigantic 6 inch screen phones, or anyone who would like to minimize their phone usage without getting a Light Phone 2 which is $100 more and much less smart features on the go! 😃

@@sargera1 the Titan Pocket is fine to use and the space bar is not as small or maybe now I'm used to it. I can do a good job typing on the phone. I don't usually need to look down at the keyboard to see if I'm hitting the keys, though I would have wish the keyboard would have been an exact replica to BB Q10 or BB Classic as I used to be able to type a message under the table. The only drawback I have is the finger print which sits in the center top and when I'm trying to switch apps or press the "go back" button I accidentally hit the finger print that is the home button, if I'm having a conversation with someone it looks like I go offline but it usually is that I hit that button instead. Other than that is a good keyboard.

Hi John - I really appreciate your review of this phone. I had considered getting a previous version of this phone.
    * Does it work well with Bluetooth earphones/buds? (I noticed you wearing a pair at one stage - not sure if they were connected to this phone)
    * Does it have GPS? How reliable and accurate is it? Does it have enough batter for 1 hour of GPS usage/tracking?
    * Do you know if it runs STRAVA? That would be my primary reason for choosing this phone - a phone I can keep on me when running. I just hope the battery life lasts while GPS (if it has) is on.
    * Do you know if it has any IP (Ingres Protection) rating?
    * Glad it now has USB-C.
    * Also glad to see that it has a fingerprint reader for unlocking.
I have read that it has an NFC clone app? Which clearly means it has NFC - which is great.
I like the call recorder, and screen recorder apps.
I had read another review that Google maps was "workable".
I am really disappointed that it is not listed on GSMARENA for comparison - is there another, better phone comparison website?

Hi Jonathan. Yes to all of your questions other than the question about IP. I used Strava on the phone as well as GPS. Bluetooth works great as well. I legitimately used the phone for a week and it does the job fine. Even logging into my security applications like OKTA for work. Only hard part is the texting on small screen.

@@johnzoid74 Aaah! Thank you - that is so awesome! For the price that I have seen the phone at - an IP rating might not be that critical (cheap enough to buy another one - if it does accidentally get wet). I guess the only thing I would need to get used to is how chubby it is (coming from an Xperia X / XZ2 Compact)
Thank you for the review and your response. 👍

I also can confirm it works great on the go as a bicycle computer. But it has no IP rating and there are no mounts available. I managed to combine the smallest metal mount I could find and a TPU cover and I always have updated maps with me. For longer trips I use a powerbank to be save. Also for music on the go with bluetooth it also works really good.

@@Jonathan_Strange for navigation I use Komoot. I paid once for the world map en for a 2,5 gps trip without powerbank its great. The display is good enough and you can see how many time/distance left for instance. I looked for a Sigma Rox but thats without gps itself while the Unihertz has it build in. So in my opinion they should sell thousands only for people on two wheels. Komoot has support for some e-bikes.

Wait in a back alley for 3 hours 2 minutes and 1 second then a weird small boy that wear eveything black with a black mask and a black coat will tali to you and you need to tell him the pass its mandarine18r8292 then you need to breakdance for 8 minutes 67 seconds exactly ! Then give him some object you cherish after that you will need to Wait for 9and3 seconds exactly days after that scream out of your window "i love jelly beans !!! " then after that 3 jelly beans will fall out in the street one is green one yellow one red choose on of them then the color of the phone is gonna be the same as the jelly bean then an old dude that wears a tutu will give the phone to you in a giant case made of metal that is hard to break.

for small screens like that it doesnt matter how big the battery is but still
it has 2000mah and since my phone has also small screen 4.7 and 2350mah and lasts 6-8H
then ill assume it also lasts like 6-8 or 10H
