But if they can make watches that can make/receive calls & messages without being linked to a phone…unless a tiny phone can do a lot more than that it’s not that impressive. The now 2nd smallest had more significantly more features & functions. But yea…most adults who purchase such a phone are doing so for nefarious uses. Primarily as a prison or burner phone.

Kudos to the company claiming on the pamphlet that they dont update the phone. Most companies nowadays will claim to update their phones but never do anyways (at least on androids, i know apple is pretty good at updating older models)
This is the perfect size for a phone if you need it for emergencies while going on a jog or cycling (especially on long routes like racing bikes). Especially if you don't have, don't want or can't afford a smart watch that works with an (e-)SIM card. :D

This type of phone was popular back in my university days, but it's not something I'm looking for. You did ask what kind of person wants this? I'm an ultra marathon runner and carrying my bulky smarthphone with me on long training runs can be uncomfortable. After 2 hours it feels like a brick. On the 3rd hour I'd rather not have it with me. I do need something for emergency purposes, that allow me to contact someone. The smartphone part is necessary if I'm hurt, injured or extremely fatigued while on my run and need to hail an Uber to take me home. The lack of smartphone features would be great when going out camping or on hikes. It eliminates the temptation to keep checking on social media and you live in the moment, while still having the ability to contact someone if you're in an emergency. This tiny phone would also be great for very young children who the parent feels are not ready for social media apps. The parents can still chat to the kids through good old fashioned phone calls.

Just looking at the dimensions of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini E10i online, it is nearly double the size of this. The phone in the video is 1.77inches, the X10 Mini is 3.26inches.

So… This is a tough one for me. I think the Pantech C300 from 2006 is still the smallest ever. It’s not classified as a smart phone, but it has basically all of the same apps on it, Camera, address, storage, etc.
Phones have gotten so sophisticated and able to do things you’d never expect…and gotten so expensive, too. So perhaps we’ll see a popular return to tiny, less “loaded” devices like this. I personally use my phone purely as a call device 99% of the time, so one of these little devices might be just the thing for me.

The OS is java. If i want to find games type (ur game name) j2me download. J2me is a java file. If thise games do not work, type .vxp games download. Vxp is also a java file but for some ""different"" phones. However tge phone may not be able to install them. ( some java phones cant install games 😢😢) so if u find the games ger them on the sd card and try to install it directly ( in the 1inch phone) from the file explorer. Find the games and you should be able to install them. Then in fun&games your game should be there. Or on the home screen. Thats it

Not exactly a "smart phone", more like the pre=smart phones I used back in the day. Probably the smallest and most usable smart phone is my Samsung Galaxy 6 watch. It's actually usable, does a good chunk of what my S22 cell phone can do. Has BT, WiFi, and LTE, so I can make calls, do emails, text messages, etc. Granted... games and taking photos are off the table, but I can veiw photos and images sent to me.

Can you test and see if this phone even has a functional camera with the back cover off? I was looking at the phone to see if there was a contact point or something, because that’s what I immediately would have assumed. If there is one we are just not seeing the camera would not work at all whatsoever with the battery cover off.
That reminds me of those ipod or those really old colored phone before smartphone were invented or a bit later like those samsung duos phone. That can be probably used as those slowly getting popular simple dumbphones for who wants less distractions and can get on to their daily life.
It's almost small enough to stick on your keychain as an emergency backup phone.
You would need to remember to keep it charged. Not sure how long a charge would last even with the product powered off.
