Ive commented this a lot, but it's crazy what people just leave on their computer hard drives when they put them out onto the kerb. Had a PC that booted right up, no issues, and had banking, occupation info, as well as a bunch of contacts and tons of family photos. I formatted the drive of course.
Most of the computers I find in the trash usually had their hard drives factory reset and have nothing on them or they have music and pc games I never found a computer with banking information on them and if I did I would most definitely factory reset the hard drive
NOTE: Quick format does not erase the data. It just marks all of it as free space. The point of quick format is that overwriting (erasing) all the data takes time. If you secure erase first, quick format is fine. It's also fine to just disable quick format.

I was on SS Medicaire at a very young age (bld fire NYC chemicals during rennovation)..but they ask for those who have not necessarily worked or NOT enough. Long ago disabled early age while MA and tried and NIGHTMARE - esp the ACP program - took over my computer network, cell phone so on. Using tracfone and later Charter Spectrum with Spectrum Mobile.
You can access the file system through the recovery mode load the phone up into recovery mode, then connect it to a computer via usb, and it should show up as usual in the file explorer on windows or the android file transfer app on a mac. Hope this helps you, just keep in mind that the phones with a startup password like the one at 2:40 will not cooperate and you won't see the files stored on it. It's also not possible to do this on iphones, but on iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 you can load up an ssh ramdisk and access the filesystem that way. Overall, great video, I subscribed.
Hi, I encrypted the memory card in a Samsung phone of a family member. There were some thousands of photos. I tried to move it to my computer but it deleted the folder of photos. Since it's encrypted, I don't know how to use recovery tools. I know the password. But, I'm worried if I decrypt, it will overwrite the deleted files. You have any idea if those photos are recoverable.
johnchristian7788 As long as you know the password, you can decrypt it without data loss, just make sure you use the same phone, as there may be compatibility issues if you insert the memory card into another phone.
There’s defo a way to crack it but only works with certain phone models as long as you can get it into recovery mode. Most likely Samsung and Google phones.
