    Hey... thanks for doing these vids. I know this is still a very niche product... and there's just not a lot in it for you... except a passion for the EUC community. I'm always waiting for your vids to drop. You have just the right mix of polished production quality... with dead honest detailed commentary and... ummm... "slip ups" to keep it real and protect my fragile ego from your insane skillz. ;-D Much appreciated.

    • @KujiRolls
      @KujiRolls  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I think pedestrians in beijing have been desensitized to fast moving mopeds on sidewalks. We all get along everywhere. As for the little red balls, those are fire extinguishing balls that explode powder if my wheel storage rack has a problem. Not really sure if theyll help... the fireproof box is what i actually use when i charge my wheels. I get a little paranoid having so many massive lithium batteries in my home. If one goes off, they all go off. And that would be quite a show.

    Kuji! How would you say it compares to the 16X?

    • @KujiRolls
      @KujiRolls  4 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      A lot of differences between the two. The 16X has better agility, convenience, and comfort. The MSP can put out like 2x the torque, is more stable at high speeds, better at dealing with bumps, but is more uncomfortable to ride and has some handling issues. Id take the MSP if im going offroading, the MSX for street rides, and the 16X if im dealing with errands.

    • @dan.t.hillary
      @dan.t.hillary 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Nikola pedals and a less aggressive dihedral pedal angle will do wonders for the MSP's comfort, I think. Nothing compares to the 16X handle though. Best in class.

    Fantastic video! I have a problem I hope you can help with. I’m a little worried about battery drainage with the bigger motor. I weigh 215lbs as it is. Have you noticed much of a difference between the MSX and MSP’s range? Think the 2000W motor variant on the MSP might increase range if I keep it under 35mph like I would the 2500W motor?

    • @phantomlg2007
      @phantomlg2007 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was wondering the same thing, I'm ready to buy but can't decide from the 2000w or 25000w

    • @KujiRolls
      @KujiRolls  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      At 215lbs, I think the msx can handle you unless you ride up steep hills for extended periods of time or are a very aggressive rider. The msp has less range even though it has a slightly bigger battery, but for me anything that can handle 30 miles of hard riding is enough for me.

  • @RevRides360
    @RevRides360 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You've made some thicker pads. How are you liking them? We found the thicker pads help with control during hard braking and to push the wheel for hard acceleration.

    Hi Kuji, how is the situation in China? I am from Italy and we are all still at home. I have a question for you: do you think the MSP is better than the Kingsong 16X, off-road? What differences do you find?

    • @KujiRolls
      @KujiRolls  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The situation in china isnt bad. Still very far from normal, but slowly returning. Temperature checks and lots of area restrictions still in place. And for the MSP vs 16X off-roading... huge difference. Smaller tires dont deal with bumps as well and the amount of torque is crazy in the msp. On the street, the MSP isnt so special.

    hey Kuji, u got one of the best videos euc riding ive seen, quick question if you can answer, i only tried the small gateway pocket rocket MTen3 10" wheel and think im ready to upgrade to bigger wheel, but im a smaller person, 5.4" 115lb female, and wonder if the size of the euc matters, harder to handle if it's bigger? im considering, choosing between Gotway MSuper X and Emotion v10, emotion is 16" wheel and gateway msx is 19" much bigger and heavier too... do you think it matters, harder to handle for a smaller, lighter rider if the wheel is heavier and larger in diameter? im aslo looking at all terrain, road and off road, so choosing bw these two... thanks in advance for your reply if you get a minute :)

    • @KujiRolls
      @KujiRolls  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, it matters a lot. The MSX is big and heavy to handle. I dont see a smaller person enjoying it so much. Depending on how fast you want to go... id be looking at the KS 16X/16S, GW Tesla, Inmotion V8F. Stay away from the MSX/V10F/18"+ wheels since youll probably feel they are very slow to respond.

    • @KujiRolls
      @KujiRolls  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      ::sigh:: This is a tough question to answer since, generally speaking, the cheapo ones suck and will drastically be more difficult to learn, less fun, and more dangerous. Your weight will be the most important factor in how cheap you can go since battery capacity and motor power are the primary factors in performance and safety.

    You are a great wheel rider , you might be one of the best . I watch all your videos and have learned a lot . I was hoping you can answer a couple quick questions for me , I’m new to the ride , I just got myself be in-motion V11F and I love it I also got the in-motion solo wheel for my 13 year old we are both addicted lol . I like the pads that you put on your unicycle do you suggest a beginner use them? I’ve been experimenting with off-road and I really like it ,would the pads be better with just Offroad? Thank you in advance and any advice or expertise would be greatly appreciated. Great videos keep them coming.

    Awesome review! I was waiting for this one. I dont know how you rode up stairs but that was rad!
    So you notice a difference is voltage drop with the 21700 batteries vs 18650s?

    • @KujiRolls
      @KujiRolls  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I havent actually been tracking the battery drop at all. All i know is that the new electronics + different battery + different motor = more torque

    • @squidsleap
      @squidsleap 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KujiRolls it even looks like more torque on video, I imagine it rides great too. Stay safe out there, and thank you for making the stay at home orders we have in so cal much more entertaining! (Even if I have been on the wheel everyday!)

    Hi kuji, love your channel.. your videos inspired me and I'm in the market for a wheel. What do you recommend as an entry level wheel? I'll be riding in Dubai in the city, and I don't want to compromise power and comfort. Something with suspension maybe? I've never ridden on one of these before but I'm confident I'll learn. I hate changing flats tho 🙈 is there a solid wheel version?

    • @KujiRolls
      @KujiRolls  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on a bunch of things. Weight, budget, convenience, range requirements, top speed, agility... And for flat tires, just get a bottle of "slime" and that should help prevent slow leaks.

    How does this compare to the S18? I have a Onewheel and may get another toy. Since I am 58 the idea of having a shock to save my legs, knees, back...sounds good.

    • @KujiRolls
      @KujiRolls  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Both have way more torque and speed than the onewheel. The msp is more for the crazy offroad types (I can barely utilize all its power) and the s18 is more for casual comfortable cruising. S18 sounds better for you

      I haven't properly tested out the monster. At the time, I wasn't ready for it and I thought it was too heavy and clunky. I should reevaluate

    You're a pro man! Whats the top speed and how long can it be sustained for?
    I hear alot of beeping you this video. Is there a way to take it off or raise it to 40 mph?

    • @KujiRolls
      @KujiRolls  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Top speed? Maybe 40mph, but I wouldn't recommend it for safety reasons. It beeps once you hit 32mph and the only way I know to disable it is to disconnect the speaker all together which would give you no warnings ever. Very dangerous. Don't do that. Just live with the annoying beeps, ride below 32mph, or wait until gw updates the firmware (which may not happen)

      The new kingsong wheel is great for beginners. The pedal height is a little tall, so it'll be a little more difficult to learn but once you get going it'll be fine. Also if you're a onewheeler, you'll pick it up in less than an hour

      Yeah, the MSP can put out that torque reliably. The MSX can do it momentarily, but not over extended periods of time
