You're an amazing tester Kuji. This wheel looks unbelievable. My main concern is maintenance otherwise this is freaking amazing. Thanks so much for this ✌🏾👍🏾😎
Glad to see you explain the key difference in the suspension design of the S18 vs V11. The fact that the S18 has only the wheel and motor as unsprung weight makes it a superior design. Real world testing of the two designs can prove theory wrong but our bet is that the S18 is going to outperform the V11 in any suspension performance test.
Very nice! Thanks. I hit an unpainted speed bump the other day unexpectedly and it did throw me off. This suspensions would have helped. Looking forward to more reviews.

But sad that KS & Inmotion had to scrap speakes & battery size for this innovation Im attracted to the V11 and thats only cuz it looks like more of a sealed unit plus its V11 name matches my name & b-day...lol Hope thats enough to make the purchase. 😜👍
I like this wheel, a lot! It looks nice, the suspension system is actually working, and it is surprisingly nimble at low speed unlike other typical 18’ wheels. The foot pedals are tall, long and comfy but I’d like it to be a bit wider for a more relaxed wider stance because at low to moderate speed I prefer not to grip the wheel tight with my ankles. It has the potential to be an “one size fits most” type of wheel. Maybe just not powerful enough for all your insatiable hunger for speed and torque, but for the rest of us, it may just be the best option out there. Comfortable, smooth, good looking, and adequate motor with a decent battery pack. And, the trolley handle, which is across the width of the wheel in the middle, is quite stable too, much better than the GW 18 inch wheels which place it at the back of the wheel. It may be a bit too tall and heavy to consider as a learner friendly wheel, but it should be easy enough for a beginner to handle. Assuming the final product will utilize better materials and better constructions, it is really an attactive wheel.
Also need a real test like going over deep pot holes and riding slowly in town centres riding around people. Is it heavy and sluggish to turn at slow speed for example
Mostly the style... But, without at least 1500wh battery - it is just a mid-range wheel for the price of the top wheels. Sure, you can ride 70 kilometers with 1100wh battery, but you won't be able to push it hard already after first 25 kilometers of ride - it just won't have enough power to ride at top speed anymore.
Only inmotion units had decent water resistant, never heard of a gotway or kingsong having any that could meet inmotion. But I hope that changes with the s18
Super exciting! I'm very curious to see how the top speed throttling curve will end up looking like. I think this would make a super fun wheel for my commute, but I'm curious if I would need to be charging it at work, which I don't need to do with my current wheels.
MSP/MSX or ks18s - which one could You recommend, as most versatile and worth to buy ?(speed not important, more build, range and comfort) Do You still think MSP is best offroader ?
It depends on your riding style. If youre just doing flat hard packed dirt or bumpy roads, the s18 is going to shine. If youre doing steep soft dirt, the MSP will shine. If youre doing street riding on smooth streets, the MSX will shine. Range is mostly a matter of battery capacity.
@kuji rolls - sweet vid and u be fearless as usual (dunnonif you have a exo sceleton that prevents you from breaking bones but), BUT a shock wont help with a mono driving through Sand. For that you need either increased friction (aka knobby tyre..ok not really friction...but for people to understand) ....or water to turn sand into mud that does not shy away from the weight of the wheel and rider as much :-) or (of course) more area (aka wider tyre or tyre with bigger diameter...we dont want that)
Yo Kuji, thanks for this Video preview! A comment I keep seeing is that the innards being exposed may be bad for possible water damage, or possibly getting damaged in a crash scenario. You dispelled a bit of that concern here. I keep thinking that perhaps they'll opt to seal it more for production with translucent plastic like the Nikola. Any thoughts on that? Do you feel it will be modified for such concerns? I personally love it as is and would be stoked to have one innards exposed and all. I love the look of it (for Socal, not concerned with rain much), but people in rainy climates aren't really considering this wheel, in favor of the V11, which understandably has waterproofing...
Waiting for more info. I want to get into EUC, but I want to start with my go to unit. I need something more for offroad. At the moment, I see S18, GW MSP and V11. Hope that GW will show something new in a near future.
they have option to set preload and set the dampening, some also have option to inflate like the fox racing version.. DNM also makes one that sits out and has spring attached to it.. so you can either fully locked or have 10 different adjustments...
Hi Kuji, From what you saw or you've been told, might we expect the suspension assembly to be protected/hidden by some kind of removable cover/housing? This would protect the suspension mechanism from rain, dust and scratches since eventually this will happen.
Very good quality videos Kuji! :) I hope the final version has these exact pedals, love them! More chances to fit between obstacles and to hit fewer rocks, I also appreciate the USB port, the different manual modes for the light intensity and the "built-in Kuji pads" since I don't like to glue stuff to my wheel but I love to jump. I would also like to know if the pedals are bouncy/magnetic or hard, can the wheel stand by itself with this mudguard? Does the trolley also have a lock mechanism when fully lifted? (So I can carry stuff when shopping) and finally, does the wheel have a fan somewhere? Every time I choose a wheel I look into those small details so I appreciate that you include them in your reviews!

Approach of Gotway and Kingsong is completely different. Gotway cares about your soul, not the body. Gotway is fun, but it is dangerous. Kingsong is all about safety, it is locked to 50kmph, it will raise the pedals all the time you try to do something "fun", or if the wheel "thinks" that there is not enough power left... amazing to see this coming. But there isn't much to learn from this video...
